i pity anyone who whould vote for a candidate for the reason of they support med weed. what about important things, like national security, jobs, the economy, and putting a stop to this "class warfare"? some, will vote only based on free birth control. FREE IS SOCIALISM!! someone pays for everything. thats why i went to school and learned a trade. so i could work for what i wanted, within reason. some just want to puff, and sit on a corner with a tin cup. poor me. lol. losers. what ever happened to the america i ounce knew? come nov, it will sink, or have a chance. dont listen to the mainstream media. they are behind ohbama 100%. and its not their job to do so. they are to report. not sway. but they do. over 60% now say they are waking up, and seeing how crooked they are. ive known it for over 15 years. so yes, i will vote for a weed hater! ill smoke weed, regardless. so will you! so no biggie. id rather have this country get back to leave it to beaver, a bit more. we need it. god, country, family, freinds, and home. thats what matters!! and now, its 420 for me. in the privacy of my own house. this ar-15 box is a nice place to roll a joint on, to! lol

Have you heard Palin talk about cannabis? She said it should not be an issue. The TEA party is concerned with fiscal issues, I have never heard them mention pot. Santorum is a moron on a whole host of issues. Have you ever heard Charlie Rangel talk about weed, he is a hard core drug warrior? Many people here like to mention that Ron Paul is a hard-right Republican. The drug war was greatly escalated by Clinton. The Democrats controlled both congressional houses for forty years prior to the late 1990s, during which the drug war was fully formed.

The issue of Cannabis in not at all clear cut along party lines.

My father in law... the most hardcore conservative Republican I've ever met. Smokes 2 zips a month go figure. He is also wildly hypocritical in most senses so the weed isn't really a surprise.

I am a borderline Tea Party conservative. In fact, marijuana is one of the only issues I take the liberal side on. The man who wrote the recently defaulted Texas bill to fully legalize recreational use of cannabis in Texas was a Republican. Glenn Beck, formerly of Fox News, supports marijuana. Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, and Marco Rubio are my top picks for our next president--even though it probably won't get legalized under their watch, but, whatever, there are more important issues at hand in our world. I am a conservative stoner; we do exist, and I'd like to meet more.
