Please explain how a wrong answer in this case could mean a criminal record? At worst it would be a denied application. Quit fear mongering.

Btw the correct answer is no you do not have to be a patient of any system to be an approved dg.

But what would I know, I'm just a participant on a weed forum.

Please provide supporting documentation for one case where a dg received "drug charges" while solely providing cannabis to thier registered patients.

I'm sure there are many cases where they were growing excess, selling excess blah blah blah. One case where they were working within the legal framework yet were charged.

I'll say it again. There are dozens of cases with people with dg who thought they were working within the rules who are now up on charges. I personally know someone who has a court date in june over it. All the keyboard warriors out there can call me whatever they want, fact is health canada is the only authority or opinion that matters.

I asked for proof and you've only provided anecdotal evidence with no supporting information.

What was you friend charged with, what evidence is the crown using against him/her? Did they even have valid dg registration with the patient? We're thier plant counts in check? Were they outside their storage and/transfer limits? Were they out and about with some personal cannabis and charged for that?

HEALTH CANADA WILL APPROVE A DG WITHOUT THAT DG HAVING A LICENSE. That is the answer to the question at hand yet you seem to want to infer that by simply becoming a dg you are at risk of being charged or imprisoned. That is not the case from everything I've seen, read, and experienced. Work within the laws and you are fine. Work outside of them and all bets are off.

I try to have a legitimate discussion with you and you run away.

I suppose you don't have any actual proof the back up your claims.

I do - it's called my dg license. I'm not a patient yet I received a health Canada approved dg registration under the acmpr.
 
I never asked for any discussion nor have i partook in one. All ive said, repeatedly, is to contact the people who make the rules instead of trusting random strangers on the internet as taking advice like that can lead to legal issues. Take it however you like, really dont give a shit.

Your last three posts quoting me are clearly partaking in discussion. A dumb and pointless discussion but discussion nonetheless.

I will repeat what a few people have said in this very thread. Have you ever tried to talk to health Canada about the acmpr? Ever asked the same question on two different occasions? You're just as likely to get different answers rather that the same answers. Patients/caregivers need to arm themselves and take ownership.

The laws are written rather concisely when it comes to personal production and designated production.

Have a read through part 2 - it's the only legal document that matters for the acmpr. You might want to grab a dictionary though - there's some big words that you might stumble on. Goof.
 
Yep and im just going to keep repeating over and over again to contact health canada and laugh harder and harder as you get worked up about it. Thanks for helping me kill some boredom while on call at work.

What you miss is that I enjoy arguing with trolls. It's good practice. You made unfounded claims, got called out, couldn't support or substantiate your claims, then proceeded to act like you "won" by getting me "worked up". Enjoy the rest of your shift.

So when someone asks a question about legal rules, a response saying their best bet is to contact the rule makers is a troll? awesome logic. Then in his TLDR; reply puts a link to a govt of canada website, the very rule makers i said to contact. You feel smart now huh?
