I have the PA hydroponics 13 gallon RDWC 4 bucket system.

I HATE the sound of the air pump, its obnoxious, it causes heat and I have to run tons of hoses for it and currently i can hear it humming away on the other side of my house due to vibrations.

The PA hydroponics 13 gallon site is about 65 total gallons of water. i figure if i upgrade to a 700 or 800GPH water fall pump then put a 90 degree elbow on the end of my water fall so it shoots straight down and do this to all 4 buckets.

If i do all this would i be able to rid of my air pump? i just want to make sure i am not missing anything!

Yeah you can get rid of air pump as long as you have good surface disturbance

I can't even figure out what elbow fits into the back of a 3/4th current culture bulk head!
A 3/4" elbow with some tubing on the end, with plumbers tape to help thicken it up a bit, should fit in there nicely.

Sometimes they pop out, though. I'm 3d printing some better fitting ones.
