You can apparently rig up a few magnets to your drill chuck as well. Then use different sized stainless bolts or whatever as the bar. Cheap DIY magnetic stirring device with parts you likely have laying around, with way more torque than the units they sell or any other diy stirrer..
Drill and mixing blade. Like stated earlier will mix with minimal effort. Just buy a new one and use it only for that.

if you want whisper quiet, then you need a good and expensive aquarium pump (linear vs diaphragm)
if you want value, buy cheap and buy a bunch of spares. they will fail when you least expect it.
Those vivosun commercial pumps get pretty loud huh? Feels like my grow room already loud as hell with dripping water, tons of fans and air pump so I might just go to the cheap, noisy and powerful route. My current air pump is 4x4L which I'm finding out is on the very low end.

BTW here's a quick pic of when I tore a few roots then 3-4 days later.

I quit buying large commercial pumps, and instead starting adding smaller ones for each container. No noise and plenty of DO. Every container has bubbles misting the net pots. Just aerating the res and circulating the solution wouldn’t allow for the ultra fine micron mist to work its magic, almost like HP aeroponics. Easier to control fine bubbles popping than spray bars which needs extra measures to seal off IMO. At least with the pressures I would be spraying at..

yes the vivosun one I have is louder than all the others. the latest one I got is 245GPH for aquariums....much quieter and like above I just run multiples. One on a backup battery in case of power outages etc.

Do you have multiple hoses going into one DWC with this setup? Also does air stone size make a difference? The ones I have are small balls.

Small aquarium air pumps are cheap these days! Not to mention the heat buildup is almost non existent, because they don’t pump in as hot of air like the big noisy units do.

There are ways to quiet the large pumps down. Just adding an intake tube so long cuts the noise down considerably.
