Do they have a party cup contest for auto's ?

yeah if they are prizes i would say like sample bottle of nutrients or something like that. nothing to crazy but some thing so its not just a contest of pictures.

ANY SUGGESTIONS FOR RULES ?


AND ARE WE LOOKING FOR THE BEST LOOKING OR YIELD ? WHAT ABOUT ARTISTIC FLARE?
A LITTLE BONSIA ACTION MAYBE ?

What i came up with

1. Has to be a ruderalis cross no iranian clones lol
2. party cup has to be (_____) <~~~~ that size seeing how there are different sizes should prolly pick one
3. roots have to be contained in the party cup
4. weekly update pic/ comment if you like
5. height , wet weight , dry weight posted at end of grow on a digital would probably be the best bet just take a pic
thats about all i can think of

#1 should be determined on the average grams it puts out, like what it says on breeder and seedbank sites. Like AF's between 60-80g range etc.. Theres a few besides the iranian that can be, well you know

Best looking plant.

Best method for growing (training/topping/etc methods (judged be end pics before harvest)

Must be individual no group shots

i think we are going to do a few different categories, like : best looking plant, highest yielding plant, best method, best overall etc. more info to come

What's the point of meauring anythign like looks etc when peopel only care about how much and how potent bud comes of of the plant? OVerall, the best plant would be thehighest yielding and most potent mix no?

2 plants per person should be good. Maybe 1 indica 1 sativa or hybrid

How would we test potency online exactly? Your totally missing the point..

cause if it looks good it probably is good

even if i judge im still gonna grow some out maybe a 6 pack seeing how wont be in it to win just wanted to do it for the hell of it anyway just so much better with some friendly competition

I'd say like three categories Highest Yield, Best Uniform?, Healthiest Plant? ? shouldn't it be 1 plant per person cause not everyone will wanna do two and thats just boosting your odds Id say if it has to be party cups then the biggest size they make

Well how about the max they can grow is 2 but we will only judge one? That way if something happens its kinda like an insurance policy type dealy ;P

The point of restricting pot size is to see how a plant will grow size wise not to see how it looks. And if you cant judge potency online like you said (which is true), then just go by amount of dry bud off of it since thats all that mattersin the end.

Never said much about the pot size except for me giving the definition of party cups, not sure where the first part of your response came from mate. Just go by the dried bud amount since thats all that matters in the end? Well using your logic i will now enter the competition and save a lb of the finest i have set aside and just say thats why my plant produced... hey guys, lets all just take it down a notch, this is supposed to be for fun!
lets keep it that way, i have read all of your suggestions and i appreciate them all, i think as of now we are going to have as many members who want to enter can. we are going to do 2, maybe 3 plants tops per member, but im liking the 2 idea (one indica, one sativa) we will have a few different categories and then we will have an overall competition, the categories will be things like highest yielding, best looking plant, and stuff like that which JUDGES will decide the winners ( prizes will be given ) and then we are going to have an overall best auto solo cup in which MEMBERS (of the competition and not entering) can vote who the winner is and who will get the GRAND PRIZE, so basically we will have a few multiple categories with a few prizes like high yielding, best indica dominant, best sativa dominant etc in which judges will decide and then the overall competition for best autoflower in solo will be voted on by everyone not just judges.



this is only the very very begining and there is really no scructure yet, we are mostly just brainstorming ideas and as soon as i find another mod to help me and 1 or 2 trust worthy members we are going to get together and come out with final rules, and final competition categories, NOTHING i said is set in stone, so if u dont like the idea just tell me or post is here and we will go fromthere...if your going to be negative the entire time dont even post because i will remove the posts and i will remove the person being rude from the competition and from the forum, play nice please!!!!



as of right now there is no time schedule yet BUT, the my GOAL is to have the competition STARTED (as in put seeds in the cup) by end of june begining of july AT THE LATEST, i would like to start around june 15th, but if people will be ordering seeds and stuff like that and we need to push back the time a little bit, thats okay to, we arent in a rush, and we want everyone to particpate and have fun, thanks for your time everyone

if anyone is interested in helping or maybe even judging the competition please PM me and we can go from there, im looking for at least 2 others, but i would like to get 4 or maybe 5 judges (the judges will be the organizers as well) i will do most of the grunt work and i will pay for prizes out of my pocket BUT, i do need help with structure, ideas and things like that
