I have found that the trick to keeping Miracle Grow Organic from burning my plants is to simply
use a container with no holes.
Say you have 2 plants in Miracle grow in a couple 5 gallon buckets (one with drain holes, one without). If you feed them the same amount of water (lets just say 16 ounces of water) then some may run out the drain holes of the one bucket. But that 16 ounces you gave the plant without holes in the bucket will have a much better "time release fert/water" ratio because none of it drained out. The other bucket however will have just enough water to activate the fertilizer but really not a whole lot to soak up. And the more water you give Miracle Grow the more fertilizer it releases. Its not really a "time release" fertilizer.
I don't know if I said that the way i wanted but it makes sense to me lol
