Plants certainly do benefit from co2 supplement from all types of plant lighting short of maybe fluorescents. Either you weren't using the co2 correctly or you were using shitty led lights. Possibly both. I know next to nothing about led lighting for plant growth. I Am an hid guy and have been for decades. But I do know there are more shitty led fixtures than there are good ones. Way more. The good ones are expensive and made by small little company's and all of the workers/designers are actual real world growers that know there shit with ppfd and all the lingo or the other good ones are made by the do it yourself crowd. I wouldn't say crushing. Maybe single ended traditional hps lamps. Watt for watt and a skilled grower with a jamming cultivar and canopy...damn son. They do kill it. But double ended hps fixtures still bring the power. It's just that heat man. Them fukers are so damn hot. But I hear ya. Led's are in the game and here to stay. Just look at GMLs recent side by side throw down with single ended thouies (I think 16,000 watt worf) and the other room packed with a lil' over 8500 hundo worf of HLG 550's. Still don't know the final dry cured weigh in. Haven't checked up on his vids. But I assume it was close. Even if the HLG side got slightly less...damn man. Just over half the wattage? That's a game changer. The good led lamps don't play. Just spensive. $$$ on the initial buy in.Almost all LED grow lights that are commercially available are junk. How many watts of LED did you use per square foot compared to HPS? And what brand of LED light? Almost all LED lights that are crushing HPS are diy, although if diy isn't your thing there are a couple very good options such as HLG.

It cost me around $500 to build 750+ watt 16 cob active cooled fixture's that so far have been capable of 3.25lbs ea. and tend to average about 2.5lbs ea.

CO2 will actually make your plants larger, not shorter. Assuming your environment is as it should be, extra CO2 (in conjunction with extra water, light, and nutrients) will produce extra photosynthesis, which translates into more growth.Hi, I need an expert's advice. Types of air conditioners would you recommend?Yeah...if your using a fan to displace the air in any grow room...your not running a sealed room. No biggie. I would run with what you got. After a few grows..start thinking about employing an air conditioner that doesn't use grow room air to cool the condenser (a mini split) to battle heat and zipping that tent up tight and use co2 with a ppm monitor. But this is later. I would run with what you got and not even worry about gassing co2 for now. You will get buds and fatness just the same. Especially with that little 315 watt lec (cmh) fixture. Ive seen those little lamps in multiple arrays and they are damn near like the sun. Plants grow healthy as all get out under some cmh lamps. Good luck.
