Do you check bud trichomes or leaf trichomes

Overrippen is a vague word. Since like mention weeks ago some like no amber. Some like little amber labd i ve rarely seens people liking over 50% amber. So any where from 90% milky 10% clear to 70% milky to 30% amber seems to be a rippen preference of choice and taste. Most will suggest not going past 50-50. The death of your plant may only be a result of how much energie it needed to complete its maturity. Like to many fan leave remove before being put into flowering which resulter in a to fast of a nutrient depletion process. Causing the roots nit to be able to have energie to intake nutrient. Many keeps all leaf that dosent hide a bud site and remove sucker at nodes instead. I personally remove all inward leaves and leave all leave that are outword fir that purpus. And if anything happens they are the ones tge plant will eat in case of déficiency. Its a good crop fir the second crop. And in organic soil dont worry about over feeding next time. If what you feed is weel ballance nothing will happen. Okant will take what it need. And around a mount before harvest. You just feed water and do water rou iut to wash availabal nut in soil. Bacteria wil have to decompose nore irganic matter and that how you ll gett your nut depletion. Dont allow run off during ved and flowering is the key.

I like 1/3 amber on the buds. By then there is no clear at all. High hits hard and then smooths out into a nice sedative. If you wanna offset the sedative, just have some coffee with it like I do on weekends when I wake up. If you chop when you just start seeing amber, you will have a lot of clear trichs yet.

Everyone is different so if you have a new strain you're growing, harvest a little at each stage and see what you like the most. Then grow it again and harvest when you like it.

Thank you again. I didn’t remove any fan leaves until they yellowed and basically fell off with gentle touch. They weren’t crispy but they felt very thin, limp and easily detached. My only concern is those stupid trichomes. I just checking them right now and there is almost no amber at all on the calyx. It looks like all of them are milky though. My plant doesn’t have any fan leaves left so I’m assuming I can’t push it any further. I prefer the sedative effect. I’m chopping it tomorrow regardless. It’s been in the dark for 24 hours now with the exhaust fan lightly running and a small fan aimed away for air circulation. Humidity is at 35%. The sample bud I harvested earlier was a pleasant high with no harshness. Thanks for the knowledge!! Why doesn’t this forum have a classified section. I’m looking to buy used cob lights for my next grow in December.

Is it dead? Pictures attached for reference. I think this plant looks done but I thought so 2 weeks ago. Input please. See above post for details.
See you knew when to chop by reading the plant, bring it down.

Trim and dead leaf up to where it joins the stem plus and yellow shit leaf up to bud edges then hang couple weeks in open room and then we want smoke reports.

Its looking ok, done in places. Dont fuss over this tip but i like to harvest when plant needs a water rather than wet soil, speeds the dry and stops calyx shrinkage as well - minor things but if they are due a water even better.

Think you will be happy with the smoke and yeild overall, looks ok to me. Plants not great but buds ok got potential. Im thinking about perfect considering - next grow starts here hopefully too :-)

They dont endorse classifieds as be too.many arguments etc etc.

No need to do 24hrs darkness and that, morning times were good at lights on for some. I never found it matters much :-)

Certain kind of thc dosent nececerly go amber. It all depends on genetics. So you may have a strain that dosen't really go amber. It is very possible. So if you grow thus again next batch check for no clear trichome has an indicator. You'll still have giod terps in these trichs. But good luck on next harvest. I'm getting ready for my next grow. Grandaddy bruce (#3 cross) , do-si-dos, obiwan kush, zkittlez glue (#4 cross) and bleuberry... I'm curantly selecting a male cross these strain together if genetic seems pleasing. My girlfriend will be the tester of that. If it isen't a strong hitter i'll know...
