Do you check bud trichomes or leaf trichomes

Luckily there is an inner me and together we manage to talk most fear anxieties and social phobias through. Strong weed is not good for anyone imo :-)
I love strong weed when I am home and my day is done. Through therapy I’ve learned to be in tune with my body and when or if I’m anxious I don’t partake. Weed is similar to any vice. It’s not “good” for me but I enjoy it responsibly. ;)

This is why I cant eat edibles. Brings on a panic attack from hell for hours.
I'm better with smoking it, but even some strains will give me massive anxiety. The one I do best with is humboldts blue dream. That makes me feel so blissful and relaxed even if I smoke tons of it.
I can relate to certain strains being anxiety invoking. I will look into the strain you mentioned. For the most part I’m ok with most strains I’ve tried. I just use less if it’s a new strain until I see how my body and mind react. Edibles are very enjoyable for me on my days off.

The reason i stopped years ago. Keep growing oht of love for the plant and give away harvest to my love ones instead
I could see myself continuing to grow after quitting. I love learning and I’ve much to learn about cannabis growing and in general. Growing has improved my overall general patience as well as fostering respect and appreciation for the plant itself rather than the high.

@RangiSTaxi @Renfro @PadawanWarrior @DrKiz
@Kingrow1 @hillbill @Thundercat @Frigault @Merlin1147 Please see most recent photos. My buds are starting to look less dense and more airy or popcorn like. Do you see that in the photos? Thanks to everyone I now realize I have longer to go. Big bloom is organic, I think, would it be ok to feed with it? I have to water tomorrow. Thanks again!!
If you grow organic at this point i would bother feeding. The plant is consuming its fan leaf which at this time is a normal beavior of the plant. You are in that zone where most people harvest and are told wait that extra kick.. Well this is it that extra kick. The plant is putting all energie left in bursting new flower to ensure polination. At this point water should be fine and start watching trichomes for that overall milkiness and that amber phase... Your picture from ten days ago showed the milky phase. It shoud be on a high count at this moment and you should start seeing amber slowly taking when you are at this point dont wait to long. Other then playing with cerebral and body high no much come out leaving your trichome go to far in the amber state other then lowering thc for the enhancing cbn. A lkt a people like from 10-50 amber. But i rarely seen people urguing they like it higher. More peeps like it lower in amber. And going to high in amber ifter result in too late of an harvest and having thc content drop has trichome suddently start to colapse and it self and begin to fall.. So keep a close watch.. She's toward the end. She just need to get that last kick out.. Thete is no flush in organic growing only a nutrient depletion phase. Which is what you seem do be doing at the moment. She could be harvested at any moment it up to you to find its sweet spot... Plus the trichomes stil rippen a little for a few days after you cut down..

I think Frogault just laid down some pretty solid advice.

She’s pretty damn close, and due to me harvesting a little early myself last time I’m of the thinking to try a harvest past what I think is time.

I’m getting close too. Since I’m in it for the long term it don’t mind making errors as they help you learn for future.

Harvest a bud or two soon and test it in comparison to later harvested bud.

Trial and error and you’ll know your own personal preferences soon enough.

I’ve always been impatient. Growing has taught me to temper that, and accept the learning process as I go.

I’m doing a periodic harvest this time around, not harvesting as early... grabbing a few buds for comparison and letting some go far far past what I believe is ripe.

Good luck and keep us informed. I’m going to learn from you as well bud!

I didn’t grow completely organic. I used tiger bloom and a little grow big.

Thank you for the support. How do harvest a partial bud for testing? Are you harvesting entire buds or pieces of a bud during periodic harvesting.

I’m organic starting my next watering. I’ve used 2 ingredients that weren’t organic. Most my fox farms tiger bloom. I’ll be keeping a close eye on the trichomes. I’m looking for a nice relaxing high that finishes with sleep. I’m going to shoot for 30% amber and 70% milky. Thank you for the valuable information.

I didn’t grow

You can grab a few bud that seem rippen when you are not sure. And let the rest growing. If you smoke it right away without curing it will taste like shit and will be harsh. But if you keep it later and cure it you can compare.. You can harvest in difrent batch. When you want to compare harvest point in your grow diary... You can keep a diary for every strain and set your average. Its great when you have few plant similar strain. You harvest a few days appart. And can then chose your better batch and try again the next time with similar recepies..

That’s just some late foxtailing. Just ignore it completely it is irrelevant and won’t hurt or effect anything.

Your girls are definitely getting close. You are in the harvest window for sure. If you don’t see any signs of mold or bud rot then honestly I would personally keep pushing it probably till Thursday or Friday next week. These final weeks are vital for the plant to finish swelling and ripening properly.

Thank you for your time. I don’t think bud rot will be an issue but will keep a close eye out for it. It’s very dry where I live and humidity in the tent doesn’t get much over 30%.
