im having an argument with someone.. he says that if you put a plant that has been pollinated and is growing seeds next to a female plant it will pollinate the female plant. He's saying the pollinated female that is growing seeds will become hermaphrodite. how stupid is this guy??

LOL! That's like saying if a human girl that is ripe and at her peak period for conception stands next to a pregnant woman that she could grow a dick.

no he aint stupid.
hermies = hermies.
hermies are usally down to seed genetics but other environmentall factors can turn fem plants to go hermie.
if you pollinate a fem plant with hermie pollen then the fem will produce hermie seeds.
hope that makes sense.

if i pollinate a plant and bring it back to the grow room shaking all the pollen off the plant it will get hold of other girls in the room

^ yea we went over that.. i was saying thats the only way possible.. but hes saying that a budding female will BECOME a HERMIE once pollinated. And that with absolutely no pollen on the leaves but with seeds growing on it, if u put that plant in a grow room without a male it will Pollinate the females. Ridiculous, right..?

this may be Chris has found literature on crazier shit than this before, i take back the ridicules statement Chris , you'll pull up something to prove your point i know it

i got a $150 bet right now ... my freind has a hermie and a female right next to each other sometimes even touching ... his hermie has pods all over it and it looks like some sacs might have already busted on the fan leaves ( but maybe not). i owe him the $150 if his female comes out full female with little to no seeds & NO visable sacs.. if the hermie effcts the female at all i get paid.. what do u think?? whos gunna get the money?

I'm sure enough you could be right, I haven't taken a look at my Female plant yet, but if you take a look at my Album you can see them.

I got an updated vid on it as well.bongsmilie

This sounds a little crazy to me. OK From the top. You have a hermy. Fine. You have a female. Fine. If you place the hermy (which ofcourse has pollen sacks) with the female its obvious your going to have a pollenated female producing seeds. But how on earth is a pollenated female somehow become a hermy?

(1) hermies are hermies for reasons that are either caused by seed genetics/plant stress/sexuall reversall/and or care with environmental conditions and photoperiods to name a few.

(2) fems are fems.

(3) males are males.

simple as that.
