As soon as the seedling is ready for its big pot, is when I put them under. I grow in 3 gallon bags. Run my seedling in red solo cups
Does anyone know of any high yielders?

That's a breeders choice of lineage they crossed it so many times the ruderalis isn't fully exhibited, a true photoperiod plant requires 12/12 to fully flower although they show sex when mature.. Yes people run 13/11 but in as a general rule of thumb 12/12 is photo, if it flowers under more light than dark and has ruderalis in it's lineage it's an autoI had one strain that had to hit 14 to flower but they still called it an auto.

Well I still think I got ripped, true auto or not. If I buy an auto I expect it to flower by time and not by light cycle. Also they didn't say "Oh by the way" until, from what I can see, is a year later. Then they called their true auto's "super auto's" lol. Anyways all of the auto's I've tried sucked in one way or another. Still looking for a good one though lol.

They shouldn't be classed or marketed as autos if you have to change the light cycle. If people are growing different strains it could cause problems. You'd either not realise you needed to change cycle to induce flowering on certain strains and end up confused with stressed plants or have to switch to change cycle reducing the yield on the "true" autos. The idea of autos is they flower under any light cycle, which allows growers to run plants at different stages continuously, that's one of the major advantage's.

I got the variety pack last year to try em outdoors and nothing made it, i have never been able to finish a plant outside, something always happens...

I haven't tried them outdoors. It was indoors. 10 inch pots under 432 watt t5. I'm not sure of yield but the bigger ones got 24-30 inches tall. It was some fire.

Most any cannabis besides landrace sativa will flower around 14.5-14 hours of light and 10 dark. Some sativa will. Some won't flower until ready like qwizo was talking g about.
When an auto hangs up, some can be flipped to 12/12 until flower sets then flipped back to 20/4 to finish.

that's what I was thinking too that's why I didn't really know if they were true auto's or not
