Does anyone use a dehumidifier during flower?

air flow is key. need adequate airflow above and below canopy.

i dont worry about rh at all in flower, even if its 60%. i operate by vpd, so rh rarely is below 50% at anytime.

in a 4x4 i run a 12" hurricane, on low, above canopy. in flower, i turn on a 9" fan below canopy, full power. both oscillating.

If I didn't run a dehumidifier during the warm months my flowering space would be a swamp. I don't like anything over 55% at about 80-82 degrees.

Yessir, The humidity swings wildly where I live and it helps me control and lower humidity especially late flower. Wouldn’t grow without it.

I use a dehumidifier in the basement tents because during the summer months the humidity/temp ratio is perfect for the development of botrytis.

The reason I bougt the dehuey is because I'm growing in a closet and I was worried about the walls becoming infested with mold. I read that thing on growweedeasy and thought the dehuey might serve another purpose.

It's a plant response to high humidity to make the buds airy so that more air exchange can occur. That's not great if you want tight nugs.

Lower RH is useful for contamination prevention and also boosting transpiration which helps move nutrients in plants. Airflow is also important in the micro climates in and around the plants. Airflow increases transpiration to some degree at any particular RH. Airflow can help with contamination prevention but has it's limits as the RH gets higher so try to keep the humidity under 60, down to 50 if possible.
