Does this stem look normal?

Hi there!

I am 4 days into flowering and was doing a little grooming and upkeep today when I found these strange white bumps/lesions/cankers on the bottoms of the stems of a few of my girls.

Should I be worried about these white bumps? Or is this what happens when you throw them into flowering? I'm afraid I'm getting the beginning signs of a stem disease

Umm, yeah...here are some pictures (oops)

I am not sure what they are but I have seen them on some of my plants and they do not seem to be anything bad, they went all through flowering with no problems.

Looks to me its just like with trees, Once they hit a certain size they send out "bumps" like that and it spreads into bark.

If you covered the plant up to those bumps,roots would sprout. It's fine.
