yeahh imho i consider "old" to be post 75 (and i was born in 88 so thats a youngin view!)
As I said, age is a relative thing. Bobby Hull was 22 when he won the Stanley Cup with the Chicago Black Hawks. At the time, too me, he was old. Jonathan Toews was 22 or 23 when he won the Stanley Cup with the Chicago Black Hawks, but I'm sure that how to this then 6 year old Bobby Hull seemed old there are kids who watched Jonathan Toews hoist the Cup and to them he was old.I thought i was old at 22 lol
oh fuck, the weed must be doing a NUMBER on my memory, because i don't know half as much as i knew when i was 22 --> when i knew fucking *EVERYTHING* lmao....I thought i was old at 22 lol

Now hang on a minute. You referenced my post about the ratting out twice without getting the point IMO. NIRVANA never threatened to rat anyone out. In my experience they bend over backwards for customers. What happened was that they hired some dude to cover customer service (we're talking 6 or so years ago) and HE made threats only to customers that retracted their payments (threats which I'm pretty sure he had no intention of ever carrying out). As soon as Nirvana found out he was doing it, they fired his sorry ass. It was NEVER Nirvana;s policy to threaten ratting anyone out.Talk about the epitome of hypocrisy! I have said it REPEATEDLY that friends have purchased and grown Nirvana seeds. I have seen what they have had to put up with, including one being threatened by Nirvana that they would forward his personal information to his local cops, something verified by Nirvana itself, because he complained when his seeds would not pop and he wanted replacements or a refund .. and I have smoked what they have grown and know it is low quality.

There was no mention of your claimed outside; "dude" to handle customer service. In the case of the guy I knew who was threatened to be ratted out the email came from Nirvana, not some other outside source or email address. When you looked at the Internet header information for the email it showed it came from Nirvana, not some outside source. This has been an interesting thread, thanks everyone who added their $0.02
Personally I've had nothing but good experiences with Nirvana, but I kept seeing Brick Top posting about Nirvana threatening to sick LEO on customers... thats a bit too rich for my blood even. Crappy seeds, eh, usually it's people who don't know who to grow in the first place but threatening to rat customers out to the authorities is just low. And I did find a post thru Google from about 5 years back from a customer who posted an e-mail with this threat from Nirvana.
So I asked Alice at Nirvana Shop about this and.... she admitted that it happened (the threats, not the actual ratting people out)!! It was however years ago, back when they had a really sucky and basicaly insane employee working for them (in the dark ages Before Alice). The employee has been fired over making these threats and Nirvana has really stepped up to the plate since and professionalized their service department (as I can confirm, Alice is a total doll). Hope that clears things up on that count at least... Alice was horrified that story is still doing the rounds... she would never do stuff like that.
If those were the only choices I would likely grow from bagseed. You pick two of the worst places you possibly could to use as a comparison so most people would likely agree with you ... but you doing that does not make Nirvana any better than it actually is.wow i cant believe you guys are still arguing! i would rather order from nirvana than bcbud or everybodydoesit to be honest,
I only believe that you all say this because those strains back then had less of a high. All of them were basically shwagg and since(at the time) it was the only thing available all over there wasnt a better high so to speak. Now you've got so many different strains that everyone is accustomed to that you're kind of getting used to the new age weed. That weed back then may have gotten you higher but its only because youre tolerance wasn't up to par. Im willing to bet if someone could hypothetically speaking of course travel back in time and pick up a half ounce. and you smoke a fat bud from it and compared it with the genetics of today, there would be no match with todays weed being much better. You also have to think, the world revolves and so does everything in it. With that being said, Im pretty sure that the growers as well as their techniques have gotten MUCH better in the last 30 years. How could the weed be worse?there not tales ,, lol
how old are you guys , ever smoke any bud from the 90`s , 80`s or late 70`s
well im 45 and i have , and im telling you all this new weed is just not the same
WOW!!!! You sir, are the most arrogant poster I've read yet. I've been lurking on this & OTHER boards for several months. I have seen more posts praising nirvana than not. Just saying. BTW, I ordered from Nirvana, my beans arrived in under 2 weeks & germinated 100%. But since you must always be right, Nirvana must suck.Let me see if I understand you correctly. To spread the truth means only expressing it once and then sitting back while large numbers of puppies and Beavis and Buttheads all say, nope, not true, and go on and on about their misconceptions, if someone responds to them, further adding to the facts or repeating some because by reading someone else's message that it was clear that they missed something at some point or misunderstood something at some point, it then makes the truth an untruth simply through the act of repetition?
And for further clarification of your statement, if a fact or facts are presented .. and let us be clear on what a fact is:
fact
Something that actually exists; reality; truth; a concept whose truth can be proved.
So with the actual accurate definition in mind, if a fact or facts are presented you believe that even though it is a fact or facts the final decision on if it is factual or not should be left for others to make their own decision if what is factual is indeed factual or not?
If so, what you are saying is that each person's personal opinion, their personal belief, which so very, very often here is not based in true knowledge but is merely a chosen or preferred perception, somehow magically and mystically transforms proven facts into inaccuracies and at the same time transforms inaccurate misconceptions and warped perceptions into proven facts.
Using your logic and reasoning someone could say that it is a fact that gravity exists, but if someone decided to disagree with that fact, gravity would no longer be a fact and things would begin floating around, or someone could say it is a fact that the earth is round but someone else could say, nope, it's flat, and because of that the planet would become flat and ships would sail right over the edge.
I will never understand why so many growers are so fact-phobic. Possibly it is because so very many of them have always been education-phobic and concepts like learning and accepting are so totally foreign to them.
But I still believe it at least in part goes back to some basic insecurity causing them to need to believe that whatever they pick or do or how they do it just has to be top shelf.
We see that sort of thing exhibited on a fairly regular basis where someone using a few weak CFLs and aluminum foil for reflective material and grows Dollar Store genetics will claim they can, and do, produce as large of yields with as large and as dense of buds as someone with a 600-watt or 1000-watt HID setup who uses Mylar for a reflective material and grows nothing but the highest quality genetics available.
I fully understand that everyone has certain things they would really like to believe. Me, I would really like to believe in the Easter Bunny, the missile shield and strippers with a heart of gold. Sadly though I am bound to exist within the realm of reality and that is why I know that Nirvana's gear is crap and that Nirvana is not a business to be trusted.
LOL ,, come back after you smoke that nirvana stuff ,WOW!!!! You sir, are the most arrogant poster I've read yet. I've been lurking on this & OTHER boards for several months.
