diggin the hood eddie! those holes for the venting possibility? nice idea to be able 2 add another duct if you increased ur bulb power.

and net , i nearly blinded myself when i put my hps on for the exact same reason - had to stick my head right inside and eyeball up them all , its like aiming ur wind up torch at the sun - that considered couple of the lights did go off in the end and it took a while to notice- the heat had unwrapped my layers of insulation tape , and re-liquidified my glue ( now i remember i solder then glue)
 
Yea net I ate shrooms yesterday and was tripping balls.. I ate alot cuz they dont really do much anymore but they had me twisted last night for real..
Anyways just glad to be alive and drinking coffee right now lmao

Yeah! In series! I wonder if both ballast will handle that? Well I have 3 cfl's and the 150 watt all together in one surge protector. Do you think it will handle the 70 watt hps as well?
 
I think Id get another surge protector myself and as long as nothing else really drawing a load on that particular out or series of outlets on the same breaker then u will be fine.. Id personally just get a timer and go str8 to the wall with the added hps.
 
morning all kinda quiet here, baby napping, daughter at g-moms. AAAHHHHHHHH quiet.
Net-I would hook up the other bulb on opposite side of your hood. Get another u-bolt and put it on other side. run wire powering 1st ballast jump to other ballast. Kinda like my batwing. Then use the cfls for bottom. That should fatten up those buds nicely.
Dl-not going to do the shrooms now? Just catchin up need to tell dude about note!

I wouldnt think both of those on same circuit will blow breaker its kinda easy-power wire should have 3 wires coming out blk. white grnd. You allready have one light hooked up, need another wire-connect blk to blk, white to white, grnd to grnd to power up both ballasts. Should I sketch out a drawing for you? Sorry I thought that was funny. But I will.
 
Well I understand the concept of wiring and how to ( E.E Minor in Jr. College), what I don't really know is what will happen to the load if both ballast's are on the same circuit. I guess I won't hook it up like that with the risk of a fire and all......
 
Should have figured you know electricity too net! I wouldnt think fire, I would think circuit breaker tripping(ha right up your alley DL) How about wiring both hps on one circuit then different circuit for cfls. Should be ok there.
