paradigm....Airflow is key. If using HID, you'll be burning your crops. People can get around it with CFLs, but you're not going to have a smaller yield. I have never used CO2 but BeaverHunter and I think WhoDat does with wicked results. It also allows for hotter temps (90+). I'm a fan of FIM, if growing straight up. With Scrog there is no need as each shoot is a "main" cola. I guess that's really all I got.
So tomorrow will be 4 weeks. Half way for Moby Dick. Looks super little for 28 days. But I did stress her with the water drying up, and she's the only one that made it. I did look up other Moby Dicks at this stage and they looked like pop corn nugs too. I'm hoping she packs on the weight in the next month. So Blue you are winning.
I'll be moving my Blue Chz clone in a month or so and start that going again.

I hope the results are good when they come, don't worry about the stress from underwatering, it happens in 90% of grows at least once....just give them long periods of unstressed time. I am a great advocate of this....it can be applied to trimming or scrog training: do little bits at a time but attempt not to keep extended periods of stress because the plant will flourish most productively during the hours of least stress (obviously this is only one factor of many).

that's the link to the best thread online about scrogging imho. Just happens to be on RIU
The other thing is CO2.....forget buying systems, just take a trip to a supermarket and buy glucose and yeast. And specific measurement of each (depends on room size and how you are setting it up) giving chemical reaction of sugar and water (warm helps i will explain) and yeast = ethanol and CO2. You can find out quantities on various sites i.e. - some say 2 litres water for 2 cups of glucose and 2 teaspoons of yeast...this sort of ratio although there is a lot of differing advice about. Get an empty 2 litre bottle of water, heat some glucose to dissolve in water in a pan for example....when it is dissolved, let the mixture cool to a warm but not hot temperature a fair bit above room temp. and funnel the mixture into the 2 litre bottle...then add yeast and gently shake once or twice.....leave for 20 mins for chemical reaction and turn fans off in your tent while lights on for 20-40 mins (again a lot of different advice on times out there)....just as you put the fans off (not necessarily the extractor and air in but definitely oscillators and such) put the bottle(s) into room and leave until you come and check in 20-40 mins.....do not 'mist' your plants in this time or the still + moist air will not help for a couple of reasons... Then put fans back on and carry on. Leave the bottle(s) in the room and then after 2-5 days (again a lot of discussion about frequency) and do the same...shake the bottles and watch the fizz.....KEEP this fizz away from the plants for a few seconds...it is ethanol mainly....not good for your girls. Then fans off and leave for 20-40 mins etc.....
This process can be repeated for 2 weeks or so until the yeast runs out of glucose to feed off and then you can put more yeast (read up on further details or pm me). Anyway Ray this may all be old news that you have thought useless but please try it once with the same technique as before and tell me the babes don't come out a more beautiful green and the bud heavier and fruitier....(maybe i exaggerate here but they were undoubtedly much chunkier and heavier)..
What's that colouring on the Mobys, nute burn?....
Oh also if you are a fan of FIMming (yes I am too) then scrog can go hand in hand with this....such an undervalued technique...once again read the ridiculously long thread link above....I have advised woodsman, the thread starter, to write a book of scrogging based on the information and pictures on that thread....it is no short of epic.
