Hey everyone,

Welcome to my first gorilla grow.

Strains ill be running

10x Dinafem Blue Widow
5x Dutch Passion Frisian Dew

3x RQS Diesel auto
3x Dinafem Kush auto

I'll start them in Biobizz All Mix soil in 1ltr pots bringing them outside for a few hours everyday to harden them up. Then once they have established a root system they will be going into the ground. My aim is the first week of May. I will dig out some holes 1ft deep 2ft wide and add some pre mixed soil for food. Not exactly sure what to feed yet lol.

Weather in Ireland can be hit or miss so we will see how it goes. Iv gone for some hardy outdoor Sativa dom strains so hopefully I won’t have too many problems with mold.

Haven't picked a site as of yet but iv been scouting the last few days. I have a coastline and mountain near me but finding somewhere nobody walks with direct light and decent soil is tougher than I thought.

Germinated last night in RO water. After 24hrs I’ll put them into paper towels inside a lunch box until tap roots are about 1inch long.

Cheers man, I went for Sativa leaning strains hoping for small spaced out bud sites to avoid mold as much as possible. Iv seen some great grows here with the above strains and the autos will be an experiment, got them as freebies. I might keep the autos in 20l pots, I really don’t fancy digging 20 1ft deep, 2ft wide holes haha

Let me know when you get started. I’m actually not too far from Waterford so we will have a similar climate :bigjoint:

If you have a secluded garden spot, one of these wouldn't do any harm. 3m x 2m x 2m for €75. The cover probably wont last more than a year or 2 but the frame is decent 19mm steel tubing.

That’s some deal on the greenhouse. I have an old trampoline outback. I was going to use the bars from that, wrapped with polythene sheeting but it would be way to difficult to transport

Yeah i get a few out everyear, got to get that percy in.

As its your 1st grow i really would have a look at them and try a pack. They are priced really well. I did well with them last year much better than the dutch or danish or spanish stuff. Bred in the uk for the uk growers.

Good genetics, good soil, and a bit off good luck and you will do well.

Have you tried the Frisian or Blue widow?

Actually, while I have you here, what kind of soil mix are you using or do you make up your own? I have some biobizz all mix there to start them off but haven't decided on what to feed them after that. I'm just looking for something basic enough

Hey Emerald i am growing outside.im going to start cracking seeds tomorrow. I grew blue widow Last Summer. Didn't take very good care of the plants. Had one small one turn out. was very very impressed with the smoke. I'm about 5 hours from the Canadian border. Just to give you a reference point

Not personally but i know others that have.

I dont use compost or anything like that. i just find good ground, big nettle beds and chuck a handful of chicken shit down a few weeks before plant out thats it. I dig at plant out as well.

These are real gorilla seeds greengold. in a nettle bed.

im at lat 53

Quick update

So I had the seeds in the glass of Ro water for just over 24hrs and then into the paper towels. I don’t think the lunch box was warm enough for them, after 3 days the tap roots were only just starting to poke out.

Iv put them all into the soil in 1ltre pots so we’ll see how they get on from here

Do you have a journal up? I’d live to follow along. Or feel free to post pics here.

What kind of temps do you get out there? I think the blue widow are sativa leaning. I’m hoping for small spaced out buds or iv a big chance of mold. It gets very humid here in Sept and Oct and shitty weather

Hey Emerald I don't have a journal yet that maybe something I will do. We just got 24 inches of snow:(:( but we do have nice Summers. Consistently in the eighties and lots of 90s. Pretty high humidity. I can usually keep my plants out till the second week in October before the weather turns
