Electricity off during flowering stage

Good day guys,

I have plants in flowering stage about a month after flip.
I just been told that the electricity will be cut off for 6 hrs for construction.
lights should be on during that period.
I wonder what should I do to avoid any harm?

Appreciate all the feedback.

Bro my power strip screwed up when i went on vacay. my plants @6weeks flower were in the dark for 6days, blumat water only. When i got back i restarted the 12/12 and they acted like nothing happened. I did maybe lose a little yield and they took longer to finish. One of em was Destroyer. It finished at 13 weeks! The others were just a week off schedule.

Continue your normal light regiment. The extra darkness for one day won't make a real big difference. This scenario is much better then having extra hours of light (such as a faulty timer). They'll be fine.

Power will be cut off after four hours after lights on, and will be back in six hours.
in my experienced, they dont usually need exactly 6 hors do be back. maybe 3-4 hours I guess

I was wondering if I should have that day all dark.
so it would be total 36 hours night. Not sure if it would work

If I dont touch anything till the power back.
I might have couple hours light on before light shots off
Would that be OK??
What if I cut the lights when power off. reset timer next day before the lights on?
That way I dont have lights off and on again in just few hours.

one thing I would suggest is if you have many digital ballasts and timers . unplug them . why I say that is they will be screwing with the lines and no point in chancing a power surge . only unplug items if you have thousand of dollars invested . other wise chillax

I think most digi ballasts have their own surge protection and if like mine you cant turn it on and off quickly as it protects the bulb from damage.

I wonder how much bud you will add to your harvest if you were to use a shitload of candles for a few hours??

Probably...

The same amount as you will lose if you continue to worry yourself to death over something that is insignificant and unavoidable.

NONE AT ALL!.

Calm yourself..all will be fine.

I had to stick mine in the loft for a home inspection and they were in the dark for 24 hours + and they were just fine, like the other guys said extra light is much worse than extra dark!!! :D

As funny as this is, "it's no joke". Knowledgable breeders/growers will alter the light cycle in mid-bloom to identify any potential "week links" (aka "Bruce Genders", aka "hermies"). If you have a cut with transgender tendencies, or one that is "hypersensitive", that bitch is going to freak out and throw bananas at every straight girl in the room. For reals.

Allow the lights to be off as needed, but ensure that you have them back on asap, and off at the appropriately scheduled hour. 6 hours off schedule isn't that bad, but fuck that up along with "lights out", and you may as well lay on your back, pull your legs over your head, and kiss "your ass" good bye.

Ive seen em freak out after getting butchered for clones and then throwen right into flower as well. Am i the only one this has happened to, or is this another way to find weak links?

I lollipop extensively, and stake them, then right into flower. I've never had any of my 1q strains herm from that.

Don't worry about 6 hour's has long has its not every day for a week or so,But i would re set the timer to right time after lights come back on ,it will be 6 hour behind with power been out,This is not prob needed but i like to have the lights come on and off at same time every day ,if powers it it will be 6 hour behind/
