Elite genetics in michigan??

To fight mites you need to attack the eggs; sorta. Eggs hatch about every 4 or 5 days in this region. Adult mites lay eggs every day. It takes about 4 or 5 days for a mite to be able to lay new eggs; so timing insures success provided your insecticide is up to the task. So you have to do at least 3 sprays spaced at about 3 days apart to insure that you have killed all the larva that hatches after you kill the original mites. If they are clones - dunk them, (sans root ball), in solution to treat for spider mites. Much better coverage than spraying. Cleaner too. Good luck. I had the Borg and beat it that way with Azamax.

Nah just me n the dogs here, we can take a walk for an hour or so...is there such a thing as too much co2 for the plant s that it can harm them?

are you gonna put em in a container for co2 treatment, a small tank must be @ 150$. Hit those suckers now w slightly diluted iso alcohol, it works.. my go-to.

ppl have trouble getting the co2 level high enough, for how long... to fully eradicate. are you just working on these nu cuts or more larger plants as well? quarantine those sm ones for 2wks. 50% iso alcohol may be too weak, doubt 70% will hurt plants...but tender newly rooted.. your call man, i don't want to be the guy that stressed fragile plants. spot-spray larger plants in affected areas.

I'll say it once, and many people knock it since its a systemic, but AVID. Kills mites with one application. Is pray a week later just to be safe but they're always dead.

if you get the co2 to close to the plant leaves it can cause necrosis... pretty sure the plant it self will only use co2 up to 1500 ppm and only utalizes this during lights on but it ur using it just to try and eradicate mites dont see why running it 24 hrs would be a waste IMO... best bet if doing just ur newly aquired cut would be to quarentine them in a small area just make sure to keep direct contact with the dispencing end of the co2 and the plant to a minimum... hope this helped

Avid is LAST resort for mites. I use floramite. I'd kick it up to forbid before I tried avid. That is seriously toxic shit.

ive heard nothing but good things and had good results with the mighty wash and thats 99.99 percent water...

I would go with Mighty Wash or Captain Jacks Dead Bug Brew. You don't have a huge outbreak so no reason to get drastic yet just quarantine the plant that has it so they don't move to other plants. Everyone I know who has tried to use CO2 to get rid of them it doesn't work so I would not go down that route.

Lets get back to elite genetics. I have a few people I get elite cuts from but they are very picky on who they give them out too. For instance I am getting a Blue Dream clone and Grape Stomper clone next week and he won't give it to anybody else and asked that I not give it out either. The main reason he only gives some people cuts and not others is (A) I trade good cuts with him often and (B) He doesn't like to give cuts to people who are not going to grow it out to its potential. I can understand this to a degree because if you give somebody a great cut then they flood the markets with it but they didn't grow it near its potential then when you go to sell it people will just over look it because they have tried it from somebody else and it sucked. And if you are the only person to have a strain and it is better then anything else around people are going to come to you to get it. That being said I don't think I personally would not give a strain out anymore but I would and have been very picky on who I would give a strain too. This has also fucked me over in the past thou, for instance I had bought a adventure pack of Spice of Life seeds back in the day and I found a plant that tasted like skittles and had huge resin glands. It was one of my top 3 favorite plants I ever grew and I had only given to 1 person well I had to quit growing for a couple of months and I told him to make sure he kept it around and he lost it to fusarium wilt. I will never be able to find that plant again. Anyways sorry for the rant, you can find elite cuts here but it is best to have something to trade that is elite as well.

Have you grown grape stomper before? I lost my legit cut of it, only to trade some tough to get shit trying to get it back, and got a fake one. Not dudes fault. He went out west and paid for the cut, someone ripped him there. My original one came from mendo. I passed it to a few people around here. Makes me wonder if dude you're getting it from was in that line. Or from elsewhere. Or if it really is grape stomper. Tell tale signs. Big thick stems and leaves, dark dark green, takes forever to veg.

I have a few grape stomper bx going.
Budtender in Marq asks me if I can get any Sour Grapes seeds/clones.
I told her Sour Grapes and original grape stomper are the same strain.
She checked into what she was talking about some more and said that
the sour grapes she is talking about has a different parent(s) than the
original grape stomper, and it's from an apothecary in Cali. I guess I should
scroll through my texts and get the name of it. Anyone have any thoughts?
If they are the same, I'd like it. If they are 2 separate strains, then I'd like
them both. lol.

I have not grown it before I will let you know when I get the cut and grow it out if I think its real. Thanks, I'll keep a look out for the signs.

Ive heard nothing but praise from the stomper but not the same for Gage which i believe is the original breeder of it.. but i get what your saying nick... i wouldnt expect someone with a hard fought top notch clone to just throw it out at random but if you had a few more people in your circle that skittles may still be around... which sounds like an amazing bitch by the way... and as far as other growers not growin it to its full potential when a grower that did a real smoker would know and see the difference and be ready to get the real deal.. everything u said makes since tho... just seems like having a lil circle of farmers to toss and trade and barder would keep shit alive if something where to happen god forbid... but everything you say makes since just thought i would give my 2 cents..

Don't you guys who are out there trading between growers get paranoid that people near you know you grow, and likely where? I miss out on so much cool stuff going on with mmj because I don't want anyone who could tell another to find out. I keep my circle very small, always have.

I just worry about getting robbed, and watching someone with a gun hurt my family, but it sure would be nice to get to run some proven genetics that I don't have to work forever to isolate myself.

trading and swappin cuts wouldnt have to involve havin them over for supper... a mutually friendly meeting spot or a compassion club would suffice

Now why would you go and tell everyone where you grow at if you dont know them?

someone brought this to my attention today when I was pining for the old days of honesty in this game... Back then, everyone was scared of being ratted out, so everyone was honest and straight up. Now that people can't get in trouble, their true colors show.

Ive been trading elite genes for 8 years. Things have changed dramatically in that time..
