There is a need for balance. But social media does not provide it as it feeds you information you may like given your past viewing habits. And then you end up in an echo chamber where you end up believing the crap you consume as it is the only view you accept. There has been enough people crawling out into daylight where they say they were brainwashed by themselves only accepting views that align with their own. White supremacy, QAnon, both dangerous and built on repeating ideas that harm society. So what is your solution to deal with these types and keeping free speech free?That is just your idea as to which way the society should be moving or what is detrimental to it and silencing other people's ideas doesn't make your idea more right just the only one allowed. The end result of that is a totalitarian state where only only part of the population get to speak or where everyone only gets to repeat the allowed idea.
