Damn, that is so true and in my experience, nothing makes someone believe they are far superior to others than making money, even if it's only on paper. Some people are, of course, truly gifted and innovative but I've met quite a few wealthy people that were very fortunate to be in the right place at the right time but think of themselves as masters of the universe, even beyond business.

Obama's full quote on help from others in the context of infrastructure -
"There are a lot of wealthy, successful Americans who agree with me—because they want to give something back. They know they didn’t—look, if you’ve been successful, you didn’t get there on your own. The richest man in the world, who also happens to be a U.S. defense contractor, is being criticized on social media on Sunday after questioning why people aren't trying to assassinate Vice President Kamala Harris.

Trump over the weekend was tackled by his own Secret Service after an individual was reportedly spotted hiding on the former president's golf course behind a bush with an AK-47. Authorities say they fired at the man, who was later apprehended and is being questioned.

A graphic designer posted a question, "Why they want to kill Donald Trump?" Elon Musk, who owns the social media company that he renamed from Twitter to "X," posted a controversial statement in response.

"And no one is even trying to assassinate Biden/Kamala," Musk wrote with a "thinking face" emoji.

The comment did not go over well.

Former Republican lawmaker Adam Kinzinger, who has endorsed Harris and who spoke at the Democratic National Convention, said, "Dude I’m not kidding here, get help. This is unhinged and dangerous."

Civil rights lawyer Andrew C. Laufer said, "This is a dumb tweet, Elon."

"You want Trump to win, great. Ginning up nonsense that, somehow, Biden/Harris is connected to any of the assassination attempts on Trump only serves to potentially foment more violence. Any violence is unacceptable," Laufer added on Sunday.

National security attorney Bradley P. Moss simply wrote in response, "Delete your account."

Former Trump campaign aide A.J. Delgado said, "You sound disappointed."

"Are you trying to egg on one of your incels???" she asked.

Former Trump administration official Olivia Troye also jumped in, saying, "This is vile and reckless. You know better, and that makes this all the more despicable."

Popular user @trouble_man90 tagged the FBI and Secret Service.

Democratic strategist Keith Edwards chimed in, "your government contract should be revoked immediately."

Conservative Tom Nichols said, "I had a security clearance for most of my adult life. If I had said something like this, I would’ve lost it instantly. And yet this guy is still a major government contractor."

Hasan Piker, an online streamer and YouTuber, said "this is a defense contractor," and tagged the FBI, the Secret Service, and the CIA.

Relax, I'm just being facetious and wondering if the Apartheid Incel had followed his "logic" to this next step in the mind of the people he's egging on.

I don't think he, or the other fascists, realize that they can influence but don't CONTROL the raging, violent, reality denying monsters they've nurtured. As we're already seeing with Diaper Donny the Dotard assassination attempts, hell has no fury like a MAGAt scorned.

So elons plan, is to colonize Mars, set up his own ruling class of wealthy celebs, living in pure luxury on Mars so he can then convince/lure Talyor Swift (and her cats) to the red planet, to be impregnated with elons frozen sperm. Then those Musk/Swift hybrids, will control Mars and the Earth, through a web of Satellite and defense technology, that they will control

can anyone tell me what strain of weed musk is smoking, that must be some crazy stuff man

Sept 20 (Reuters) - The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission said on Friday it intends to seek sanctions against Elon Musk after he failed to appear for court-ordered testimony for the regulator's probe into his $44 billion takeover of Twitter.

In a filing in San Francisco federal court, the SEC said the sanctions motion would seek an order to show cause for why Musk should not be held in civil contempt for waiting until three hours before the scheduled Sept. 10 testimony to advise he would not show up.

Musk, whose businesses include electric car maker Tesla (TSLA.O) and rocket company SpaceX and who is the world's richest person, went to Florida's Cape Canaveral that day to oversee the launch of SpaceX's Polaris Dawn mission.

But the SEC said that as SpaceX's chief technical officer, Musk "surely was already aware" of the planned launch because the company had discussed it two days earlier. It said Musk's actions violated a May 31 court order compelling his testimony.

"Musk's excuse itself smacks of gamesmanship," SEC lawyer Robin Andrews wrote. "The court must make clear that Musk’s gamesmanship and delay tactics must cease."

Alex Spiro, a lawyer for Musk, called sanctions "drastic" and unnecessary, saying Musk's absence from the launch could have endangered astronauts' lives, and that his testimony has been rescheduled for Oct. 3.

Musk's failure to testify on Sept. 10 resulted from an "emergency" he did not cause, and "there is no reason to believe such an emergency will reoccur," Spiro wrote.

An SEC spokesperson declined to comment, though the regulator said in the court filing that nothing deters Musk from failing to show up on Oct. 3.

The SEC is investigating whether Musk violated securities laws in early 2022 when he started accumulating Twitter stock.

Musk has been criticized, including by Twitter shareholders, for waiting at least 10 days too long to disclose he was buying Twitter shares.

Investors must disclose when they reach 5% ownership of public companies. Musk eventually disclosed a 9.2% Twitter stake, and soon thereafter offered to buy the whole company.

In July, Musk said he misunderstood SEC disclosure requirements, and that "all indications" suggested his delay was a "mistake."

The SEC sued last October after he missed a scheduled interview at its San Francisco office.

Musk has said the SEC was trying to "harass" him through subpoenas.

He has long feuded with the SEC, including after it sued him in 2018 over his Twitter posts about taking Tesla private.

Musk settled that lawsuit by paying a $20 million fine, agreeing to have Tesla lawyers review some posts in advance, and giving up his role as Tesla's chairman.

- can't despoil/monopolize/monetize everything
- can’t propagandize, manipulate/create facts
- return of stakeholders in decision making
- can’t capture/buy/control infrastructure, communication, transportation
- can’t have pet/captive government offices, agencies, services, officials, agents, etc
