This is one of the ways you can tell there’s brainwashing in action: when professional expertise & ethics evaporates if the subject turns to their king/messiah/pimp, there’s literally a break in their cognition - and they can’t see it no matter how it’s explained, described or conveyed…because that’s how it works

Which is why Liz Cheney & Adam Kinzinger stand out so brightly: they recognized what they were seeing the moment they saw it & said no! Stood up & KEPT saying no. Still saying no.

This is the difference between r3publicans & MAGA: republicans - true conservatives, that is - have principles they adhere to - even when it’s embarrassing, inconvenient, or existential, even if it costs them votes, even when it costs them money.
