I'm not against bubblers at all, it's just with the large tote I can fit about 30-40 cuttings inside... a five gallon bucket bubbler is awesome for indoors since you probably don't need nearly as many as I would use, but I am growing inside and out. I developed my method inside but it was used for cuttings intended for the great outdoors... and many of them!! I have just used it to root some Serious Ak47 and Dinafem Critical + that will be grown inside though, in a dwc hydro tank(s.) I could have simply put my cuttings into my dwc box, this would have rooted them the same exact way an aerocloner works, I just don't like that method as well. If you grow DWC style don't even bother with an aerocloner, just gear it all up as usual (with fresh clones) and hand water them for a couple o' days.
Keep in mind: my roots in 3 days aren't nearly as long as those pictured in mike91's picture, but that's COMPLETELY unnecessary. Those aren't ever in the "transplant" stage, as they're rooted in net pots and can't generally be removed even if you wanted to transplant them... my method isn't "better" than an aerocloner but it's certainly just as fast (or faster) as well as much more versatile, use my method and later you can transplant your cuttings into any medium you choose... good luck putting aerocloner cuttings in soil if you're using net pots to root them. (This wouldn't apply to methods using only neoprene inserts, which makes waaaay more sense than a neoprene insert inside of a net pot, that doesn't make sense- EXCEPT when you plan to keep them there throughout their life (even then, the net pots serve no purpose; the reason growers started using neoprene was so that they could do away with media AND net pots, the neoprene holds the stem, all the net pot will do is give your roots something to get tangled around.)
Another reason why I hate the aerocloners (again because I root so many cuttings) is I have a shelf in my grow room that holds clones only, there's 2 matching totes on each (of 4) shelves.. this allows me to have everything match (because of my extreme ocd-like obsessiveness) as well as move my cuttings down the shelf in a cycle. I couldn't imagine trying to do the same thing with 8 little aerocloners, they'd take up twice as much room and I'd have 80 cuttings max, where as now I have anywhere from 10-175 at any given time.
