They are never to big to bend over....

My veg tent as it stands after I molested the ones on the left...lol All of these plants are 6.5weeks from sprout.

GreenCrack MangoHp and the SFV OG...these two girls shot up to roughly 30". Not in my tent..lol They all now sport double bends in the main stem. One to bend her over and one going sideways. All secondary growth has been crushed and trained outwards. About a week out I'll plop a 12x12 floater screen on each one till flower. Then Ill remove the small one and replace it with a 20x22 floater.

Very pleased to see these 2 Blue Moon Rocks girls happy and healthy. They are in 1gal bags and about to get an upgrade. On e up potted these too will sport floater screens.
1000000962.jpg1000000963.jpg

Lastly, the Cap Junky. These 3 girls are doing fine over on the side. I've not paid them much attention in regards to training them down. The training they received early has the plants ready for the floater screen to spread out the multiple branches. These will be a solid 4+ ft in diameter in flower.1000000964.jpg
These really need up potted. They're growing but that posture tells me it's time to go up.

So the issue of N toxicity I had is slowly going away. The leaves are looking better now. This little mishap has caused some damage but shiznit happens.
This is what I started with....

About a week later I see some positive changes. I backed off the jacks and fed them just calnit and Epsom. The flush probably helped a little. Oh how I hate flushing a plant..lol. Anyways, I think she'll be okay.

Trying out some 12"x12" floater screens in veg stage. Took just a few minutes per plant.

Cap Junky....a few before pics.

After all the floaters...
IMG_20240907_185621236.jpgIMG_20240907_190559082.jpg

And all of them after the small floater. These should help spread them outwards and prepare them for a larger 18x20 floater just before flower.

Got them all about the same height now. I had to secure the screens down for now. Before long the plant will push upwards and the wire holding the screen can be removed.

Use the leaf stem.......

If your working some branches around under the screen and find that one branch that just doesn't want to stay where ya put it.

Sometimes if it's not to much pressure you can wrap the leaf stem and tuck it. This will often hold it in place until the new growth comes.

It took them roughly two weeks to show sex. I'll not be doing thing that way again. Next time I'll take cuts and throw them into flower to identify sex.

I vegged them about two weeks and then started 12/12. So at over a month old they showed me sex but now need time to reveg. I'm guessing 2-3 weeks for them to flip back to veg.

Finally got this little tent up. It's a two sided one but I'll no be putting in the divider. I'll just use the whole thing as one for now.

Throwing two autos in there on the 15th. 5gal fabric pots should do the trick. These are just Blue Moon Rocks for display.

2x3 tent
300w Addiding lamp
6" inline booster fan
With that light I'm a bit on the overkill side at 50w psqft. So I'll be dialing it down a lot. Environment airflow dumps into the 4x8 and the temps are good to go so far.IMG_20240908_151157705.jpg

There's been a lot happening since my last post here.

For what they've all been through it's not so bad. They should be ready to go in October. Can't wait to get all this in the flower tent. I may start a few autos once they are gone.

Cap Junky.....

Got 3 of them in some 7 gal bags today. Going to find room in the flower tent for them tonight. They got a little dinged up in veg but is what it is. These have been in veg almost 10weeks.

Training day...

I let these Blue Moon Rocks go with no training. Their time has come.
IMG_20240929_153607608.jpg
Just one of these is making it to the flower tent. The looser will be stripped for some large clones.

Risky crush and bend on both main stems but it has to be done. I'm going to throw a floater screen on top so...crushing and bending we go.
IMG_20240929_154602328.jpgIMG_20240929_154810746.jpgIMG_20240929_155646215.jpg

I bent down the remaining secondary branches to spread the canopy. Guiding them all in different directions. It's gotta look ugly before the beauty comes out.. lol
IMG_20240929_160333500.jpgIMG_20240929_160405244.jpgIMG_20240929_153521577.jpg
IMG_20240929_153456617.jpg

The most important thing I've accomplished here is forming a canopy. A lot of folks ask me how I get those wide flat ones. This is how. Super cropping and floater screens.

It's a little different look after I'm done. These are gonna fill my tents nicely.

2 Cap Junky in the flower tent. Floater screen in place and ready to go.

Here's an example of why I do some tie down training early in veg.

This is a Cap Junky I failed to train much in veg. All this small growth in the center would have been well developed had I trained more but this will work....or should I say we will see what happens. I'm sure it will fill in the center. It's got 70+ days to do so it should be okay.

All staged and ready to go into flower. I have 1 SFV OGbx3, 2 Blue Moon Rocks, 1 Cap Junky. Floater screens in place.

I have some auto seedlings I'll be moving in here once these are shuffled out. I may end up with about 6-7. It will add a little extra weight to my Xmas grow. Looks like folks are getting weed for Xmas this year. I'm sure I'll hear no complaints..lol
