I have made it all the way to 5 weeks in flower growing organic for the first time..second grow and im feeding with only coconut water and aloe juice that i blend fresh. Sometimes I add a little unsulphured Brer Rabbit every now and again to feed the soil micro..I originally amended my pots with Happy Frog soil with a lot of worm castings..sprinkled with chicken scat..a little blood meal..small amount of high p bat guano and a lot of perlite..my pots are 3gallon..my space is around 4×3..anyways!!..the plants started showing a deficiency late in flower..I posted on here about it two weeks ago..a few people said do a slurry test..some said the aloe was gumming up the works..some said ph..I had lower leaves drooping..turning colors and falling off..turns out in flower the plants are greedy for phosphorus..and they had used up all of the nutes and phosphorus in the soil..come to find out after reading and testing my soil
.the coconut water and aloe provides everything for the plant except the darn phosphorus..the plant was showing phosphorus deficiency..and although the test showed nitrogen and potassium in the mix..there was zero phosphorus..I mean zero..and also the aloe and coconut water also makes the soil a little acidic..so you must feed the soil often enough to keep it alive..I havent been doing any top dresssing all this time because they looked happy and healthy to me..until.boom! phosphorus deficiencies in all of them..so yes the coconut water and aloe work great!..I vouch for this..its great..I had big bushy kids in veg..but you must amend your soil with phosphorus before flower..and then at least twice with phosphorus in flower....I recommend high p guano top dress and worm castings or kelp..that should keep them happy..I am liking organic so far..it is less to decipher..anyways I learned the hard way..now im trying to get this guano top dress to break down fast enough to reverse the damage..if anyone knows of a faster way no chemicals to get phoshporus to them roots id love the tip..thanks for reading..I am a big fan of coconut water and aloe now..and if you are using nutes..I feel that aloe and coconut water could take your plant and root zone to the next level whether you're growing organically or not! Happy growing!
