I'm growing 2 Filipino Kibungan regs from Khalifa Genetics indoors.

They are 100% Sativa landrace from Kibungan, Philippines. They can grow over 6ft tall
I will be utilizing extreme LST, topping, pruning and possibly supercropping techniques to keep it around 55" max.

The seeds are a few years old and one germinated in 3 days and the other took 5 days.

I am growing them in rapid plugs that are planted in 1 liter nursery bag that has 20% FFOF mixed in 80% Black Gold Seed Starter Soil. I added 1tsp kelp meal in each soil mix.

I am using 1.25tsp Myco+ super root innoculant in 1 gal water for watering to boost root growth.

I am cooking 3cu ft of soil for the 5 gal fabric pots when I transplant.

Using Mars Hydro at 24" at 50% dimmer getting PAR readings around 400.

Humidity is 65%
Temp is 76 day and 72 night

Using a scrog net wrapped around the tomato cage for maximum LST when I flip them soon.
Nice i can use the top to SCROG and support the Colas.

Ive been able to keep her at 18" but the stretch is 7 weeks and this strain supposedly stretches 7X its height. Not enough info out there so im preparing best i can.

Week 7

Temps and Humidity are the same.

I removed the ScroG net from the tomato cage and placed it 6" above all the tomato cages in the grow tent. I'm going to need it for the big Bruce Banner that is very healthy and huge too.

I'll utilize the tomato cage 2nd and 3rd rungs best I can the first few weeks of stretch until it comes up past the ScroG net.

The tallest Filipino Kibungan is 22" now.
The other is 14" and growing up quickly.

There are more female preflowers on the tallest one.
The preflowers on the short one are still not developed enough to identify gender.

These are the preflowers on the tall one. Interesting the shape if the calyxs. I thought female was pointy at the top but these look rounder but still 2 white pistils coming out them

Taller plant.

Week 8

Temps are 74F to 79F
Humidity is now 50%
She was 36" before tying her down.

I lollipopped the bottom and removed a couple mid canopy fan leaves. I also LST'd the tops because they are growing at a decent pace and were 6 inches above the tomato cage.
The ScroG net is going to be 10 to 12 inches above the tomato cage.
As I move the light I have to move the canopy fan in the corner and the ScroG net.

There's up to 5 more weeks of stretch so this outta be fun.

She smells like tropical fruit. When you touch her stems they are greasy and smell like tropical fruit. The leaves also leave the same smell on your fingers when you touch them.20230730_084258.jpg20230730_084312.jpg20230730_084248.jpg

Week 9

Starting week 4 flower.
Temps 72F to 79F
Humidity is around 52%

Light schedule is now 11/13 to simulate day/night cycle in Baguio, Philippines where the strain originates from to get her to go into bud making as she's just putting out female preflowers everywhere still.

Now using Tridents Pride 2-4-1 Fish Hydrolysate buffered with Potassium Bicarbonate to get pH up to 6.5

Watering is every 3 days. Feed is every other watering. Gave her 800ppm this week.

She is stretching at about an inch a day. Hopefully she stops in 3 weeks but I will be using a ScroG net to help out since she's well above the tomato cage now.

Lots of lateral branching and filling in gaps around her and in the middle. She's filling in nicely.

No deficiencies showing. She's vigorous and healthy. The lollipopping and slight deefoliation didn't bother her.

Starting week 6 flower.

Temps 70F to 81F
Humidity 45 to 50%
Height - 51 inches (129cm)

Nutes 650ppm using Alaskan Fish Morbloom 0-10-10 ferts now.

Tucking the tops to keep her within reasonable distance to the LED light

Hopefully she doesn't stretch much more. It seems that the cola tops are beginning to form as I see clusters of calyxs and pistils at the top.

She's shooting her spears up.

Week 9 of flower
Temps 72F to 79F
Humidity 45 to 50%
Height - 55 inches

I built and put in a better ScroG net. She still stretching a little. Seems I'm also getting 3 fingered leaves at the tops. Looks like the cola tops are ready to work on buds and not stem.

She definitely a full bush in a 4 sq ft footprint.
Calyxes and pistils everywhere

Week 10 flower

She's stretched even more. Seems to be based on the strength of the lighting above her. Outside the LED perimeter she stretched higher than directly underneath. Still getting some yellowing fan leaves in the shade due to the new canopy filling in.

I'm monitoring possible root bound issues and monitoring soil moisture to adjust frequency of waterings.

Hopefully she starts focusing on her buds now.

Week 11 Flower

Supercropped last week.
59" tall
Temps 74F to 83F

After supercropping she shot up more tops and straightened some out.

I think she's done stretching finally. She's needs watered every other day. I give her around 700ppm of organic bloom nutes with s little N fish emulsion every other watering.

She really likes the light and developed a thick canopy above the ScroG net. Getting yellowing of fan leaves below the canopy.

Hundreds of bud sites on her. She has like 30+ cola tops now.
