Finally...I'm gonna do it right..well..As right as space permits.

Good idea NOT to use it....... Its old school and can be a hazard....so what state do you live in?? do they not have hydroponic stores in your state??
 
hydro stores are all over the place , im in los angeles dude. Its just that this place is a lot closer and i take my daughter their to look at flowers . If i have to go to a grow shop i either go to Greenthumb lighting or No Stress Hydroponics. so which fogger would be best ?
 
Ok so since theres a hydro store where you live then start going to the hydrostores and NOT the garden stores......... Theres "Doctor Doom and theres "Hot shot" but i would get "pyrthium" spray its plant safe so you can fogg the room out while your plants are inside... You can usually fing Pyrthium at any hydro store..... Ok if you are going nucler get eather "avid" or "floramite" its very pricey and most places wont even sell it to you so you might have to find a local place that has is behind the counter of just order it retail but that costs ALOT...... also any hyrdoponics store should have "azamax" on the shelf

Thank you for the info , i'm definately gonna get one of those , when you say hot shot are you talkin bout the little white rectangular vented plastic box that has the yellow piece in it with poison in it that starts to seep out once you open it , or is there another hot shot that is like a little can you set off?

yes i use these inbetween grows but you dont want to spray that shit on your plants ......thats just for fogging out your equipment and room when you clean everything inbetween cycles........ You need Pyrethrum Insect Killer im pretty sure you can spray it while your plants are still in the room....... I use the Blue hotshot fogger when i clean my room out.....

cool thank you , do you mean Pyrethrum or Permethrin cause earlier you spelled it pyrthium .
 
Laughed hard at the first few posts. Just so you know, I've sat on a 2 year cannabis plant. They can theoretically be vegetatively grown forever. I have to say, I would have ditched the plants, so kudo's for hanging in there. My advice is keep your mouth shut to your friends about it, and don't flower until the room is done done. L.A. is FULL of posers. Careful, fam.

ya, Me thinx he meant pyrethrum spray as well. If you use einstein, Pick up a paint brush. Yes, a paint brush. Don't try spraying soup on the plants. "Paint" the stems and nodes, and fan leaves with infections. Very light coating. Also, I have heard of gassing them by putting the plant in a gargabe bag, and seal the end up around a hose. Run C02 into the bag until ppms are 15,000+. A few minutes will kill them, but will only shock your plants. Fog as FootClan suggested to treat the room.

Thanks a lot for your reply man , it's very refreshing to have another user post , and only my wife knows we grow anything besides some lantannas in the backyard to attract butterflies for our daughter lol. Frick friends.

so does anyone have anything to say about running four 250 watt lights instead of one 1000 watt light for flowering?

ya if you run 250w bulbs you will have little to no penatration so you better start flowering right after they take root and you will need many small plants instead of a few big ones....So your plan to veg for weeks then flower under 250watt bulbs is very flawed.... If you plan to flower out plants that have been in veg for weeks you will need a 1000w or 600w theres no point in flowering a 6ft tall plant and only have 2 feet of penetration thats just silly talk....

a plant doesnt have to be six feet tall after any amount of veg time , it just depends on training , and im not going to need much penetration because im going to cut all the lower growth all the way up to the top 3rd or 4th node on each branch,with the exception of the fan leaves, so how ever tall they do end up wont really matter in the long run cause i will only need the intense light right in the tops , i am bending and topping to get as many top branchs as possible.

The time in Veg and the size of the plant MATTERS!! Ill try and break it down for ya simple like...... With 250w lights you have almost no penetration and i get that you think it dosent matter BUT is DOES... PERIOD..... Ok so knowing that you have no penetration with 250watts that means you need to grow in a way that lends it self to low penatrating lights..... Example of this would be "Sea of Green" In a S.O.G You plant many small plants close togeather in small pots and you only veg for eather a week to two weeks or no veg at all...... This style works very well for low penetrating lights because in a S.O.G you only harvest the top of each plant and everything below the top is not harvested..... This works so well because you dont need pentration to harvest the tops of plants...

Now try and stay with me here..... If you have one foot of penatration from your light then you only need to grow a 1 foot plant because any extra time spent vegging the plant bigger is a waste of PG&e its a waste of nutes that you feed while you where in veg its also a waste of the time it took you to veg your plants bigger then 1 foot......

so to be clear here vegging a plant for weeks then LST (Low stress training) back down or under cutting it upward is a waste of resources because it will yield the same as a plant that you veg to 1 foot then flower... Like i said many times before if you only have 1 foot of penatration then it dosent matter how tall or big your plant is, its still only going to have buds one foot down the plant........

So when you say U want to run 250w lights and put plants under it that you have been vegging for weeks or even months is NOT a good way to grow or be cost effective...... Remember the means must justify the end result....... You really should consider purchasing a cannibas grow book everything im telling you is basic grow 101 stuff here i havent touched on any advanced grow tech. or anything..........

Im trying to help you as much as i can but its hard not to get discouraged because almost every single thing you say is completely wrong in everyway....

here you are again makin me feel like you just post stuff you have read about , just by the way you talk and im sure im not the only one who thinks so , now read on and soak it in genius , a plant that is grown only to one foot is only capable of producing buds of a certain size , i am topping topping topping so that i will have many many tops and ONLY the tops , with all the lower foliage removed during the second week of flowering there is no need for deep penetration , and i mean a level layer of 30 to 40 tops per plant , each bud will only be 4 to 6 inches long each , i dont know why you didnt read the post you responded so wonderfully too better , also they have only been under the 250 watt lights for a couple of weeks now , they were under just 2 little cfl's , the growth was very slow for a bit but is kinda haulin arse now, ta daaaaaaaaaa oh also since the root mass is larger than it would be if growing 1 foot plants the top buds are larger , larger root mass DOES equal larger buds , and dont forget i will repeat myself here , nah jus read it again.
