First CFL Grow - Help appreciated

So I came home after a birthday celebration and as normal the first thing I did was check on my plants. As I started to water I noticed one of my plants was missing...and then I looked around and realized a hellava lot was missing as well. Some kid set up a ladder and crawled threw my window and snatched all but 5 of my plantsalong with 1/4 lb in bud, and a plant I had just cut (prolly another oz dried). So I guess i'm starting over... I don't have any cuttings and they even took my lil clones.

On a nicer note - I called the cops and they were awesome. Very professional. They wrote down a detailed inventory of every plant that was missing including the color and size of pot it was in, the types of jars the pot was in, the quantities of each jar...Then they finished off with photos and fingerprints. Finger prints over stolen pot? No shit. I was very impressed, didn't feel awkward or nervous at all once I got over the initial shock.

Dude you are the personification for why nobody should shit on a cfl grow! From a light spectrum perspective they are not the most efficent, but for temp control and energy conservation they are perfect. You are definetly on the right track!

WTF!!! I gotta move to Cali or another state that has decriminalized Cannabis! Cops takin fingerprints and shit for stolen weed! Sounds like an episode of Twilight zone

Definately helps to be legal I definatly had doubts about calling them but as I said it worked out well considering.

So it turns out my upstairs neighbor cought em as they were trying to steal my bong. He didn't want to call the cops however as he didn't know if my plants were legal. Was like 5 kids on bikes - If they see em around they know to knock on my door and Ill give those kids alil lesson in physics if you know what I mean.


So although I'm down on bud I'm up and running again. I don't have pics of my big plants as the lights are off - will post tomorrow. BUt here's an update.

I went up to the mountains where I put three plants ages ago. Havent been back sinse and expected them to be dead but to my surprise I had 3 females, one which had budded and then begun to dry which I yanked and two more that were going back into veg which I left alone other than watering. So I at least ahve alil smoke to get me by. I visited by buddy whom I had been giving plants to and he gave me one to take with me to flower and let me take a buncha clipping which i'm currently rooting. So as of now I have 2 plants from seed in the flower area around 3', 3 small flowering clones, and one super purple plant about 2.5' I just put into flower.

Pics are of cuttings I took and bud I grabbed from the mountains - Ugly as hell but just as stoney.

Here is my current flower closet. Oh yeah, just noticed those fuckers took one of my 68w CFLs. WTF? They gunna grow 10 plants under a CFL? Would love to see their journal.

Ok, so I have three really small lame clones almost ready. put these in there when they were an inch tall and not impressed with the yield. Perhaps they were a bit small lol.

I have two plants from seed - my own creation. One bushy and one tree like. Interested to see how these turn out. Paretns wise the bushy plant smelled great but wasn't as dense and stoney and the taller was alot more stoney but not very fragrant. hopefully i got a good cross.

Lastly I have a wierd purple plant that started budding and then started vegging back and is now going to be flowered again - was outside at my friends. INterested to see what will happen to it. THink it'll just finish off the little buds it has or full on reflower?

OK first off, it baffles me to even think about cops fingerprinting for stolen weed! Haha, that has to just CHAP some of those cops asses wouldn't ya think?? Anyways, so sorry to hear about your loss, I hate damn thieves, if you catch those kids you should do something really embarrassing to them, catch it on video and post it on youtube!! Fuckin kids!

Glad to hear you are up & running and GRATS on the outdoor bud score!! At least its not a total loss, you can only carry so much when riding a bicycle, not to mention their hearts were probably beating like lab rats!!

That purple plant looks damn good, how far into flowering is it this time around?

Great work on recouping your losses as much as possible and +rep for calling the cops on people that stole your weed!!!

FIrst budshots of my own cross. this cross is definately pink lady dominant. Just starting to bud and already alot of color. Lets hope the trichs catch up with it.

Added a 10.0 23w UVB bulb. These things really put out a ton of UV...I can feel it burning me sitting infront of my closet. Crazyness. Lets see though how it influences the bud.

Nice grow man. Read alot pages on this thread. How long did you veg for? And how long flowering time total for the plant1~4... Little less than a OZ with limited space seems pretty good.

Thanks! Hope it's been helpful. my original plants I left under 18/6 for "im pretty sure 17days from seed before putting into flower. very short veg period

Bud shots of the three tiny plants i'm cutting. Included is a pic of them a week into flower. versus done. Very small clones, didn't get good light behind the bigger ones that got jacked but finished out ok. very trichy and dense but very small. they just finished with 36 hrs of dark which made then put out alot more pistils...dunno if i like that method. In one or two of the shots u can see a small fan leaf which is way ambered up - almost 100% compared to the rest of the bud which is mostly cloudy. I think i mentioned to someone b4 about how differently leaf and calyx trichs develop.

oh yeah - and i started a buncha seeds. have 12 that are in soil, a number already outdoors (just threw popped seeds in holes), and have another dozen or so germinating also headed for the outdoors - alil late I know but numbers count for something and I have lotsa seeds. These are not my crosses but are Spider Goo (spider kush x goo) seeds a breeder of mine gave me.

So I started way to many seeds and expected to have some time to scatter most of them - but I didn't so I now have 20 seedlings (2 are starting in 12/12). Dunno what i'll do with al the lil babies. Here are pics along with how I germ - simple tin foil and paper towel - if you line the seeds up correctly and keep the tinfoil standing on side it makes it super easy to put the seeds in holes and have em pop up straight. And think about scattering outside...wallet sized packet, pop open, poke hole in ground, pop seedling in hole, splash with water and keep walking. Looks like you're tying your shoe Good for planting in suspicious locations. Like next to all the sidewalks around my appartment? hahaha, j/k of course.
