First CFL Grow - Help appreciated

i just made a new box but i have to add some ventilation as it gets way to hot in there. i bought a computer fan, but am going to need another one! how many clones are you growing? how many sockets dd you have to split?

Hehe, I'm running all of that on 3 sockets...prolly not the best. I put enough splitters so that each socket allows for 8 bulbs.

I tried computer fans before but find they are a bit of a waste. Ide highly suggest a vent duct fan or bathroom exhaust fan. I got my bathroom exhaust fan for $25 and its gotta be 10x more powerful than a computer fan if not more, not to mention it fits onto ducting. My cab doens't get any warmer than the outside air and I dont have any inflow vents just the one fan and whatever it pulls from the cracks in my closet.

6 clones in there.

Ok awesome! i think i saw one for about 30 bucks. how did you wire it to fit into a plug in?
.89 cent extension cord. Just cut the end off and wire together - as easy as red to red black to black and twist together into a couple wire nuts.

Like I said above I am not happy with the buds on these plants and my supplier already appologized for giving me shitty clones but I hope to hit 2 oz per plant (12oz total) but more likely might only get 1 or 1.5. We shall see in a few weeks I guess... This is a temp one time set-up that I am not able to readily monitor. half of me says ill be pleasently surprised and the other half thinks itll end as a big joke.

I mean ur doing an indoor cfl grow, 2 oz per plant is actually pretty good

Kinda. I got 5.4 oz off 6 plants my first time on 388w. These plants vegged a bit longer and i have quite a bit more light (although not distributed very well). Would hope to do at least alil better than before considering. Although they got alot more attention the first time around.

Just spotted it on a couple leaves. Added a fan ( i dont know why I didn't before) took two of the small plants out and sprayed with baking soda solution on the infected parts that I couldn't remove.

Large pic update later today. Here's one for now

Forgot to mention I turned lights to 10.5 on 13.5 off. I dont like these plants and I want them done. And this mildew really doens't please me either. Other than spraying and the fan there is nothing I can really do. No room for a dehumidifier and like I mentioned this is a one time set-up thats getting scrapped (trailer torn appart also) once these fuckers are done.

what kinda critter is that on pic 10 in the upper right? ladybug?

Nice spotting that. No idea what that fellow is. Definately looks like a beetle of some sort and I did find and kill what appeared to be a newly hatched ladybug larvae yesterday but couldn't give u a definate answer.

Might be one of these guys - they seem to like hanging around my grows.

Looked again and found that little beetle along with several ladybug larvae and something that was eating a leaf. I dont know what it was but it's dead now. I also added a much bigger fan blowing through the canopy as well as taking out another plant and spraying with baking soda solutoin again on problem mildew spots. WIth this new much larger fan things should be golden.

So back from a weekend away and I was supprised to find 50 baby plants at my doorstep when I got back. Recently modified a room and have so far set up a 4x4 tent with another 4x8 tent on its way. Nothing fancy as of yet just lotsa little babies and two big compact flourescents (I need ALOT more light but wasn't really anticipating on these guys showing up).

small closet is doing ok. One plant (my own clone) should be ready in a week and looks great. The other five are foxtailing and still a few weeks out.

5 of the flowering girls are from a friend and I do not like them. I believe he calls them scarlet something. scarlet lady maybe? The other one I believe is goo but could definately be off on that one. The majority of the 50 new ones are blue dog. cross between blue dream and ? Ill have to ask. There's some other type in there as well. Again i'll have to ask. Like I said before I wasn't really anticipating these.

hey, you helped me with my flowering dilema, wanted to stop in and compliment you on your first grow, impressive, mine are where yours where when you flowered give or take, i think i am gonna veg a few more days and send them to flower, hopefully i can average a zip plant too!

Thanks man, glad I could help. Here are some more shots. you can clearly see the difference between the two strains and their maturation rates. A week or two on one and several more on the other by the looks of it. Took some shots of the undergrowth as well.

Oh yeah, and here are three outside girls getting minimal light
