First CFL Grow - Help appreciated

Hey man nice setup. In the first picture in the first post, where did you get those chords and fixtures to hang the light down from? I have my cfl's plugged into an outlet with a socket/bulb adapter then into a 1 to 2 bulb splitter and it just looks so shitty, i'd like to hang the lights like you have them. Thanks brotha

Here are pictures of the 12/12 clones and 2 of the outdoors plants - all doing really well. the clones are all showing buds - I think only 2 are male which is nutso considering they were all just random cuttings I was going to throw away. Will be interesting to see how they turn out - I'm guessing 1 nug plants, maybe a gram and a half off each?

Odor wise...well it's just starting to stink up real good and i still have no odor control. At the moment i just open windows and turn on a big fan now and then and using insense. Ordered four odor eliminating CFLs that should get here monday - will definately let people know if these work.

Got those from home depot - http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs...langId=-1&catalogId=10053&productId=100354517

They come with a reflector and clamp - i'm using the clamp but took the reflectors off.

Not at all man - Here's what it is called:

Bayco 10 1/2 In. Brooder Clamp Light With Porcelain Socket and 6 Ft. Cord

$13 They have cheaper ones but I like the ceramic socket - a bit safer.

yeah it's just a standard plug. Search for "clamp light" and it sould come up

Alil LST on the 12/12 clones and a half-assed gheto carbon filter. 4 hardware stores hadn't heard of activated carbon - HVAC place didn't know where I could get it - pet store had a whole wall of the stuff. Nutso.

Oh - and my fav plant had a hermy branch - cut off sacs and saved but I'm sure ima get a few seeds. Oh well - good plant = good seeds rights?

So I was looking at one of the first clones i put into 12/12 after rooting it it has 3 fan leaves/shoots per node. This normal?

Pics -

Everything is frosting up pretty well. Smallish buds but exactly what I was expecting with small plants, inadequate lighting and small enclosure.

Favorite plant hasn't shown any more male parts - thankfully. 12/12 seedlings look super shabby and i'm giving them no love. Might scrap the lot of them.

LSTing one of the clones in the veg space and topped another. LST on the 12/12 clones is progressing well and the two other clones i have in the 12/12 closet are doing quite well. Going to have to cut down on the # of plants I have though.

What am i supposed to be able to have? 6 adult 12 under 12"? Think they would consider all those 12/12 clones as one plant or separate?

Same - gunna have to harvest some buds alil early for 420 - get a boner jsut thinkin about it.

dam those plants look good. i like your light set up how they hang vertically so you get the maximum efficiency out of them.

The set-up, although hastily constructed, seems to be working pretty well. I'm able to slip those big 64w lights between the plants which seems to really be helping with the lower buds. Next time might just lollipop them all though.

graf1t1 - My first 420 as a patient as well. Not that it has ever stopped me in the past when it came to smoking in Golden Gate Park with everyone else.

Yea man, went to california (I'm from Europe) last year with a friend, we started our trip in SF and on the 2nd. day we went to GGP bought some weed and where drinking and smoking all day on hippy hill, AMAZING :bigjoint:

Thanks for comment and rep! I know that two of the males are doing great - havent taken any more recent pictures than what i've already posted.

The herm and another couple males I put up in the Sierras - haven't watered and it's been getting cold as hell up there so i'm guessing that at most only one will survive.

Another male is behind my appaartment building and i saw a kid go up there the other day with a bag and a digging impliment so that one might be gone

Funny ass hell when he realizes its a male if he did take it.

Went to a pot club today - brought back a few goodies.

Blue dream - only one i've smoked so far - mostly sativa, very uppity high and crazy floral flavor/smell, especially the smoke. Appartment smells kinda like lavender.

Green Daddy - hybrid but sativa dominant

Allen Wrench - 100% Indica they told me - should make me retarded.

Other one i forgot the name. Bag says CAN. Canadian dream or something? should be like the Green Daddy.

Green daddy btw is a purple strain? Who woulda thought.

Scrapped all but two of the 12/12 from seed. Most looking really shabby - bad genetics but I also really abused them, irregular watering and poor light exposure.

The clones are doing well - repotted three today.

A few of the clones I repotted today had started to bud when I took them. Do I need to cut the top off now?

The plant that decided to flower a week later than the rest is getting way too tall. About to hit the top of my enclosure and I don't feel like making the enclosure any taller. Might have to start bending the thing over.

Oh yeah - UPS man brought me my 4 odor eliminating lights - put three in the grow closet and one in the hallway - will let you guys know how they work. Delivery guy mentioned about the smell 'Pretty skunky!'

Yeah, I think it's a little late to put a screen over it. My next batch I plan on SCOG though. Well at least one of the plants.
