Thanks man! It's some creation from a local breeder. He gave me an assortment or undocumented seeds he had and most are absolutely amazing. I think this one might take the cake though for trich count - none of my pictures really does it justice. Just stuck the top of this plant that i've been rooting/vegging back into flower and am hoping to seed alittle. Can't pass these genetics up. And did I mention it has three fanleaves/shoots per node? Fucking beautiful.

Wow man that plant is fuckin high times worthy. i would be staring at that thing all day if it was mine, as Im sure you are haha. So amazing what CFLs can do, Im half thinking of shutting my MH off to deal with heat issues and just leaving my 8 CFLs in the fridge. Im giving some serious thought to the 12/12 from seed idea as well, less light = less heat lol.

I built a new indoor cabinet the other night, pulled an all nighter to get it done. Amazing what an idea, a few hours of time, a little cash & my wifes old cabinet turned into haha. Check it out in my fridge thread if you like.

Checked on the girl outdoors recently? I imagine the light cycle hasnt changed there so shes prolly just growin like the monster she is lol.

These cfl buds look amazing... I am happy I invested in a shitload of CFLs if my bud comes out like this I will never buy HPS or LED...

is that foil or mylar, because it kind of looks like foil...

Yea, definitely looks like foil, but it doesn't look like it was that big of a deal in the end =]

this is my first grow without a significant veg time, and with CFLs as well.

here's my two kush plants sprouted about 3wks ago and vegged under a shitty 20w floro for a week then put under the CFLs on 12-12. only under 5 23w 2700k CFLs. will add 7 more soon.

the 3rd is 12-12 from seed, sprouted 2 weeks ago.

Thanks man. CFLs throw great buds but that doesn't mean you should completely rule out HPS or LED. NASA goes with LEDs...they gotta work well and you cant argue with HPS just too proven. CFLs are just damn convenient. I have a buddy that might start manufacturing LED panels in China - if so I might go 100% LED 4kW LED grow, would be fing nutty.

Amen - everyone bashes tinfoil but they just don't get it - with CFLs there are no hotspots created with enough intensity to damage the plants, it's cheap as hell and more reflective than white paper and I don't have the option of painting nor the money for mylar just to trick out my mini closet grow.

Harvested the tri-nodal plant, about to harvest another and started several more including several of my own new crosses hopfully feminized. Will upload pics later.

this thread is inspirational... thank you for sharing your ongoing experience (indoors and out) i hadn't really ever considered growing using CFL's till now...

As promissed here are a few new shots. Couple pics of the plant I cut - again I really wish i hadn't accidentally topped but at least now I have the genetics. Turned really dark green/purplish at the end and looks amazing - still on the line drying.

Couple pics of the big polyploid - the top got alil burnt when she leaned over on a really hot day into a light Looking good though.

A few pics of some other plants i have going including the LSD'd and topped one - looking like a smallish yield but fing trichy as hell.

And a pic of the veg box with current clones and several seedlings (my own creations)

Haha yeah she got burnt pretty good didnt she? I let a CFL rest on the top of one of my new Diesel Ryders and it fried a few hairs. The only reason I was upset is because I will be pollinating both females so every saved hair is a possible seed.

Did I ever tell you how often I browse through your post these days? haha. I have been following since pretty close to the beginning and have read every page many times. My favorite section HAS to be the one where you demonstrated the different methods of cutting when cloning and you showed the root growth from each method. Blew mine & my buddies minds with that shit! keep up the good work man, more +rep for you!!

Man I swear, karma is a bitch. I giggle at you for burning one of your plants, and as soon as I got home that night I noticed that one of my CFLs fell down a bit and FRIED the whole top off one of my best looking plants Ill update my thread with a pic of it tonight probably. The cfl also was resting on another plant but it only fried like 1 fan leaf. Pretty sad that we have to risk burning our houses down just to grow a plant isnt it?

Yeah, top corner of that bug got fried - good thing is that it's a HUGE cola and only alil was affected. Thanks so much for the kind words. It so pleases me to help others and losing clones really sucks.

lol. Sorry - but is alil ironic. Was the top a total loss? Hope not but need to check your page so see. Been busy as hell watching my parents house and taking care of my plants and entertaining my gf who is in town. Def need to sit down and do some reading on your thread.


So guess what guys? I fucked up again but again it kinda worked in my favor. I've been watching my paretns dog and I took it on a walk behind my appartment. While there I decided to check up on a plant I put there several months ago and left - havent seen it till a couple days ago. So i originally thought it was a male and think i posted about how I saw some kids going back there, perhaps having adopted it. Well I was expecting for it to be gone or dead and to my surprise the little fucker was doing well, a female, and budding - actually done budding and turning back to veg. So I grabbed it stuck it in my pocket and am smoking it as we speak. Pretty fing funny if you ask me. Makes me wonder about the plants I put way up in the mountains.


Will update with a photo post later tonight.

Man that is hilarious that yet another "male" you planted outside turned out to be a female, especially since you may have robbed it back from some kids

My plant is doing ok, definitely not a fatal burn, but it did fry all of the newest growth. Overall Im pretty happy with my current situation. The cabinet is taking some finesse to keep cool, and there is no odor control, and probably wont be till its finished so its stinking a bit. The fridge in the garage will always be available for growing, but I think it will be seasonal. A friend and I will be putting together a nice setup using a completely gutted mini fridge. We'll use the largest one we can find and keep it indoors for easier temp control.

3 - Top to the trinodal plant I recently harvested - this thing just blew up in the past couple days. I'ts planted in mostly coco and it's loving it!
4 - The polyploid pink lady - buds just keep swelling and swelling and she's started her second bloom. (this plant blooms once with white pistils and then a second time with pink ones)
5 - LSTd early bird ready for harvest now but I'ma give a few more days
6,7,8 - are two different pink lady clones
9 - newest additions, two early bird and one pink lady
10 - Earlybird bud
11 - Pink Lady bud
12 - Early Bird again
13-17 - group shots back inside
18 - veg chamber with 3 monster x earlybird seedlings, trinodal clone, 2 pink ladies, spider goo clone, and a couple more cuttings I'm waiting to take root.
19 - The really indica plant I had that i cut this morning. Smells amazing and super super dense buds but still not looking like a very good yielder and it really was picky about nutes.

So I gotta post a story real fast. This is a long story so I'ma try and make it short. My buddy came into town yesterday and on the way was pulled over by a cop after being phoned in for cussing at someone who cut him off. The police asked him a bincha q's did the whole are you sober test blah blah blah and then asked my friend if he had and drugs on him. Not wanting to be dishonest my buddy told the cop that he had 3 oz of hash in the back and a zip of bud along with the passenger having another half zip. Both of my buddies have their cards so long story short after putting 3 oz of hash and over a zip of bud on his hood the officer ended up giving it back and saying have a nice day and make sure to stop at the stop sign. Not even a citation. ROFL My friend is an idiot for pissing off motorists while carryign alot but how funny. Afterwards 4 of us competed with the 7 strains we were carrying, smoked a gram or two of hash and then procedded to make hash oil, All in all ended well. Thank the lord we live in Cali.

First off, let me just say how much I LOOOOVE the numbered, descriptive layout for the pics. I always have a hard time matching up thumbnails with their descriptions. AMAZING pics and props on the organization! Oh and are the buds hanging up from the plant behind your apartment?!?!?! If so that is so kick ass haha!

And about your story....I almost cried man. On my way home tonight an asshole cop pulled out in front of me, went real slow then got on the shoulder. After I passed he rode my ass for like 3 blocks, dropped back and then zoomed past me in the left lane. I had just picked up a bag (still havent had my 1st harvest) and if in any way he found out about that my ass would 100% certainly be in jail right now. Just goes to show how important it is to keep tags, lights, insurance, etc. all up to date no matter what, saved my ass for sure, he had NO reason to pull me over but I bet he wanted to.

Sorry for the long story and somewhat thread hijack there tank I am starting to bookmark certai pages on your thread lol, you need to get permission to add links to your first post so people can use this thread as a great CFL reference. A lot of work though haha.

Gonna post some pics of my little pollinated sour diesels tonight if ya feel like checkin em out. Just now starting to form seeds.

Made 10 grams of honey oil a day ago from about a 1/4 lb of straight bud. Fing silly shit. Tinyest dab on top of the smallest nug and bam, no need to smoke anythign else for the rest of the day. Now i dunno what ill do when i run out... Went to harbor side dispensary the other day which carries around 30+ strains all lab tested for THC CBD and CBN contents, fing nutty. Their honey oil though is like $50 a gram! Jesus.
