First Closet Grow 400HPS! BigBud@CA Advice welcomed. Lots of pics and updates!

A female friend of mine is into birds and she brought the bird over. Its a Kestrel, thats the name of the bird. Its illegal in NY and thats why I thought it was awesome having pics of it with my garden (and of course as my avatar). Neither one is legal.

Well She only paid a $100 dollars for the bird. Shes actually trying to get a falcon or something big enough to catch big animals. But this bird is awesome, it can also be trained to catch bugs, crickets, grasshoppers, live animals too, small mice etc It only eats meat sorta like me, nothing green. But the bigger birds can actually bring you home dinner like a goose or duck or squirrel. So when she upgrades, I may take this little guy. It has a band (located on right foot) from licensed breeder, but you still cant have it in the city.

Well, if all goes well with this one, It should pay for me to get a second hydrohut deluxe, then ill make this one the veg and other 4x8 one flower room. But I have to see how this all works out. And if I have the patience and greenthumb to make some great buds.

So anyway. Got back from Cana da and that place rocks. Got some sick seeds. Met some cool people, and that place is 10x cooler than here. They got sex fetish shops next to guess clothing store, burgerking and sears, and of course seed bank and weed friendly coffee shop. On like the main strip. I wanna move there.

Also stopped on the way back and got a shitload of some illegal fireworks too. Just to make the whole thing a bit crazier than it already was.

So I got a bunch of different varieties 6 total known. And one mix pack. Ill be making a new Thread to continue my grows, as everything has changed. But anyway, i got to my place tonight and the place reeked of weed. I also found in the mail, an order i made to nirvana a month ago. It finally arrived, the big bud seeds, but i got Big bud Cali Orange seeds also while in canada so this is going to be some fun side by side strain grows. I quickly checked my babies and found 3 definite males showing pods. 1 definite female showing hairs, and 1 who is really showing nada, i think i see a little pod but it could be a new leaf formation so im waiting another week. I feel like killing them both now, but i also feel like id love to see the difference in real life terms of mexican dirt weed seeds, and canadas finest. Grown side by side. Smoked side by side.
But well see how this all goes...

that bird is fucking unreal , weve got loads of them over here in the uk but i had no idea you could train them like that

yeah i just looked over the pics that bird was fucking cool. the story is the bird was found hurt in the woods or something upstate. the original owner recovered it and tagged it etc. then sold it to my ex. she had it for a while then the guilt settled in and she let it go free in the adirondacks upstate ny. removing the tag of course. she loved the bird but wanted a bigger one if she was going to keep one. the little kestrel by the way is a carnivore. i didnt watch but she told me shed hit a mouse or something in a bag to stun it quickly then throw it to the bird who would commence to eat that fucker alive. gotta love nature. and she wanted a cooper hawk, or eagle. both i think that can eat a small dog.
