First grow attempt

She is looking good bro. Yep she lookz like she ready ta gt to work for you and should start a
growth spurt. Sounds like your on the right track with the light. She will follow and get taller for you now..

Just a couple pointz on the training.

Your going to want to drill holes and tie down through the holes rather than tape.
Once that tape get old or wet it will come off and she is also going to pull on the line as she tries
to get straight.

Lookz like your tying the fan leaves. No real need for that other than to open the canopy
so the light can get to lower buds.

You want to wait till the 2 new stems get 3 or 4 inches tall and then tie them down
going opposite directions. It is the stems you tie down so it will have grow sites all
the way along each stem.

Once she gets going good you would follow the rim of your container around and around trying
to keep the canopy level.

Hope that makes sense.. lol

I added some of mine to try and show you what I mean.

I planted my Lady's on one side of the pot and pulled her main stem over the center to the opposite side of the pot, then tied any new stems down and across the center to the side.
Worked great.

**Here come the noob questions**

Using a cool tube how close should the light be to the top fo the plant? Right now its at 18 inchs which seems kinda high but I heard not to put it too close so the plant can take the change easily, also I have the ballast set at 75% should I just up it to 100% and raise the light? Thank you!

Use the hand under the light trick to see how far up.
With no air going through the hood, your not going to want to get too close.

Ballast is outside the tent temps are 80 night time I'll assume 90 or so day time with lights off Ill get the ducting tomorrow thanks for the help should I go 100% on the ballast

I would not till you get the heat under 90..

Awesome! I just got in the 6 inch inline fan HUGE and the carbon filter SUPER HUGE I think I ordered the wrong size lol. Anyways I hooked up the ducting and wow this room runs cool compared to before!

9 inchs she really took off in growth but there is some black spots on the leafs but its hard to see with picture, im gonna up the nuts to see if it helps.
Also should I lower the lights since I'm only running the ballast at 50%?

Oh yea! can I trim those huge fan leafs off? Or are they collecting alot of the light for the plant at this time?

Naw, never cut the fan leafs. Those are the feeders for the ladys...

I cant get the heat corrected, so growing is coming to a end. Waste of money ... should have thought about the temperature before doing anything else. If I'm able to get my grow tent/room situated then I'll be back
