Sorry to hear your planted hermied, I have been following this grow as i'm currently germinating a Afghan Kush Ryder from Attitude... fingers crossed it doesn't happen :S
Also, my 2 cents, I read somewhere you shouldn't LST autos as it doesn't effect yield due to not being photo-period plants so they grow and flower times are short. So generally stressing the plant can cause hermie. I will probably have to LST due to space issues like yourself, i'll report back if mine hermies.
Goodluck, I'v heard very good things on the potency of AKR, so no matter what you should get decent smoke even with seeds.
Cheers Jack,
Yeah keep me updated on your plant, I'd like to know if yours goes well.
I didn't originally want to LST but space is a big issue...
The plant did see quite a bit of stress now I come to think about it.
Good luck on your grow man.
Kudos to you for your first grow....even if it hermied. You've learned a bit in this month I'm sure as your first plant was/is a healthy little sucker! I've grown autos for several seasons and have become quite fond of'em...Lowryder strains have been my fav although I had some lowlife that did well also. Right now, I have a few Bubblelicious and Northern Light autos going. Some have been moved to a 400w hps but I've still got some under t5.... Some Lowryder 2, diesel ryder, and short stuff auto assasin are waiting in the wings. Over these seasons, I have found that Joint Doctors seeds seem to be the heartiest, with lowlife also good....but haven't had much l;uck out of short stuff varieties....get all mine from dope-seeds.com.... HAVE A GREAT GROW !
Thanks Oldreefer,
My plant seems very happy other than throwing balls all over the place,
so in that respect things have gone well, especially as this was such a simple grow.
I'm glad I've got a tiny bit of experience under my belt now,
such as knowing the plants now.
I've heard great things about Short Stuff, wonderful plants.
But as you said, It seems there are a lot of problems genetically.
Sounds like you know what your doing haha.
If ever another Auto, I think Joint Doctor would be worth visiting!
