that would be a nice xmas present for your selfDidn't think so, just wishful thinking. The other two plants are looking a lil more, shall i say "organic/abstract". I think I have my cab pretty much ready to go so I'm thinking flowering in about a week or so in hopes of a christmas harvest.
that sounds righteousCurrently 6. 2x23 w daylight, 2x30w 2700k, 1x40w 2700k, 1x26w daylight. I have some 26w 2700k's to throw in there, Might drop another light fixture in the center with a y-connector with some more 40w. Not sure though, temps seem to be right at a good level and more bulbs will definitely effect that. At the very least I'll buy 2 more 40w and replace the daylights when i go into flowering. Look at the first post of the thread for my lighting setup.
Glad to see some people are starting to follow my new thread. Things are getting exciting, the cab is pretty stealthy looking. As long as you don't go into the corner where the exhaust points to it just looks like a normal cabinet with a large (and surprisingly loud... *cough* its my outtake *cough*) oscillating fan in front of it. As long as the lights are inside of the room the cab is sitting in during the light cycle you will notice zero light leaks.Looking good, looking good! I'll be following
Ya I mapped out the flowering time and it seems like I'd be rushing it. At the very least I'll clip a lil christmas bud off prematurely just to test it out ^_^. Ideally I'd like to fill the pots with green before going into flowering. That's about 3-4" of vertical growth with A LOT of horizontal growth (my fim'ed/topped plant has about a 6" horizontal stem with tops coming off it in all sorts of directions... working on training the plants all the way around their pots). This still leaves about a foot or so of room to grow in flowering.that sounds righteous
how far u got bulbs from plants
and xmas will be to early to harvest if u veg two more weeks but they need more veg
but u will have buds to look at for xmas

yes u should and u got lights power bill wont be much and u will get more potent yieldAgreed. I'm still learning and I'd like to upgrade for the next time around so I might as well get he most out of the 200+ i've already spent.
definitely. I use my spare bulbs in my room so im saving about 150w there over the incandescent bulbs that were in there.yes u should and u got lights power bill wont be much and u will get more potent yield
thats smart i do the same thing and turn lights off when not in use to offset grow costdefinitely. I use my spare bulbs in my room so im saving about 150w there over the incandescent bulbs that were in there.
sure and turn frig down a notch works toofor sure, it basically drops the power usage by 2/3 when you switch from incandescent to cfls
