yes it will, just dont let the plant get to big before flowering, a plant can double to triple in size while flowering

Heres a few pics of her.....

How much more should I let her grow before I put another stake in?

I also started enclosing my grow box last night. I didnt want to spend any money, so I covered cardboard with the back of some wrapping paper and attached that to the box...... I still need to finish sealing it up and rig up a (better) ventilation system.

Let me know what yall think..... and if yall have any tips on ventilation (or anything else!) :-P

nice DIY reflective boards.
she looks like she can use a feeding soon to.
id let it grow out till tommarow or the next day then tie down again.
also is the box light proof when the grow lights are off, cuz if not then the plant will grow oddly and not produce much but a hermie, make sure when the plant is inthe dark, that it stays dark, dont know if you are doing this already but just letting you know

The box isnt completely lightproof (yet). I'm going to seal it off once I figure out a final ventilation system..... Maybe you could help?:clap: I'm thinking of getting 2 computer fans (1 for intake, 1 for exhaust). I would make a light trap and vent the exhaust through the hole in the reflector that I'm using now. the hole in the reflector is about a 2.5"x2.5" square hole directly above center of bulbs. How many times will I need to exchange the air in the grow box? My temps are at ~85-93 right now

And I fed yesterday (MG all-purpose 1/8th strength).......... no water ran out of the bottom of the pot though, and I can not really even tell a difference vs plain water. Do I need to up the strength?

Oh, one more question lol.........

if my grow box is 1.36 sqft and my lights total up to ~9600 lumens (6 bulb x 1600Lumens/Bulb), I have 7,058 lumens/sqft........... Is this right?

i would get the box light proof as soon as you can, also i would increase the nutes every time i fed, so next feed i would go 1/4 strength. and i always water till i see a lil bit of run off. your 2 cpu fan idea should work, i vegged in a small box with a 200 watt cfl and i just left the door open when the light was on to allow cooler air to move, in.
the cfls should not get to hot.
i am not sure about the lumans per foot thing

Ive got the box lightproof except for my ventilation..... My temps are about 92-95 right now, so ill probably keep the door open when my lights are on until I get proper ventilation.

She already stinks a little lol.... Smells a little fruity :)

Here's some pics from today (3/27). She just got her first set of 7 fingered fan leaves.... What do you guys think? She's 5.5" tall and a little over 8" wide




I'm thinking about switching to 12/12 within the next week, as I don't have a lot of grow space.... Would that be too soon?

i would ie the top down threw out the last week of veg and then the day before flower tie her down for her last time and then flower her out.

So I will probably tie her down today, and switch the lights to 12/12 next monday. Do you think that she is big enough to flower yet?

yes she is big enough, for your space she is perfect IMO. plants can be put on 12/12 from seed and they will flower when they are ready.

Bet. And I think I'ma take a pic from that same angle every day and try to make a .gif outta it after it's all grown... kinda like a time lapse lol.

And Mc.Purple, what would you say that I could yield w/ this setup? If I make anything I'll be happy, lol I was just kinda curious

it is really hard to guess yield. i always tell people to hope for the best but expect the worst. this way you dont get upset if it is not what you expected.

i thin a half OZ is a decent guess though.

did you ever get it light proof

A half ounce would be AWESOME haha. It could still be a male though, so if it's even a female I'll be happy. And yes, the box is lightproof.... I keep the door open when the lights are on though

I just tied her for her last time..... I think instead of vegging one more week I will start flowering tomorrow

it looks a lil like a pre flower, the one on the left behind the stipules.
i would watch it for the next few days and if any white hairs emerge then it is a female. keep a close eye on her
