35-45% is way too high for flowering, that is too much moisture and that will definately cause mould or mildew, with dense buds it would make the possibility higher. most ppl say 20%-30%. But i dont ph and i havn't seen a problem from it yet, in years of growing. i think ph only mattes in hydro, or if your soil mix is out of wakk.

i do believe this, like i said i have not checked ph and have never had a problem.. nobody i kno on here checks ph unless they are in hydro.. i want u to tell me how rain is ph's.. my soil buffers my ph so i dont have to. look at my journal, i get nice ass plants never checking ph.

Just because you don't have to check the ph doesn't mean that it's not important for both hydro and soil. PH both for hydro and soil is as important as light and temperature.

Like i said or maybe i didn't. but i personally dont believe. personally being the key word. but all of the veteran growers around me on here do not ph either, and i have grown lbs of dank bud over years with no ph'ing. like i said my soil buffers ph so i dont have to.most nutes and soils nowadays do the same thing. i really do not see ph as a big issue. most tap water fallin in the good range anyway.

ppm doesnt matter, because in most tap water the ppm u are worried about isnt absorbed by cannabis like i said in hydro this matters not ibn soil. ppm soesnt matter in soil because if u think about soon as soil n water make contact ppms fluctuate tremendously. i would not do hydro without a ph meter. but for soil.. its just like growing outdoors watering with a hose.

i check water ph after i add nutes to it coz it useually goes up see,but with water i dont coz my soil puts it the right way, like growing out side like T said.hydro tho obviousley nneds ph'ing coz theres no soil to stablize the water

Well, everybody knows that water is important to humans right ? if we don't drink water we die. For the plants is the same, ph is important for them (in soil) because if they don't have the right ph they die or get really sick. The fact that we have water to drink doesn't make water less important for us and in the same way the fact that the ph is in the right values doesn't make ph less important for the plants. And Tryna I don't care if you grew plants for 1 year or for 20 years. That's a fact.

About the soil stabilizing the ph. If that's true why people keeps having problems with ph when they grow in soil ? That just doesn't make any sense.

because the soil that people have problems with are home made or jus bad but usually store bought soil for growing weed or other acidic soil plants the ph is around 6.3/4. at the start i always phd the run off but it was always fine so i jus stopped was a waste of time

u are comparing two totally different things, yes we will die without water and so will plants. Like i said most storebought soil buffers ph to the right level, my grandma doesnt ph for her tomatoes, they are potted? what about greenhouses, the ones ive been to dont ph, and the beans are great.. cannabis is a plant just like any other plant, yes ph can fuck you up in hydro but in soil its a longshot. usually when ppl have problems with ph in soil its because they are new to growing and fail to apply the proper micro and macros. which in turn instead of them being locked out by ph, they are just deficient.

are you guys saying that if you water your plants with water which ph is 8 that'll be fine ?

yes, i do it all the time. THE SOIL BUFFERS THE PH!
Plants do not drink like we do, as soon as we pour it we drink it. plants drink 100x slower than us so the water is sittin in the "medium"(soil) which buffers it to somewhere where the roots can absorb these nutes.
