First Med Coco Grow - finished

DAY 40 FLOWER:bigjoint:

So today is day 40. The plan is 20 more days and it looks like everything is on track. The buds are still stretching and I am ready for them to start fattening up. I give them the first dose of shooting power this weekend, maybe tomorrow if they are ready to drink.

The babies look great, They are training well and they have one more pinch and bend session left which I do next week. There are two of the bag seed babies showing hairs:lol: and one that looks to be showing a pistol.. I am going to still cut off shoots and 12/12 them to verify before I throw anything out..unless I see balls first.

Here the pics-- There is a bunch:bigjoint:

I picked up some jars at target yesterday.

attachment.php

I also wanted to share this with you too. 5 days ago while watering I broke a small branch under the screen off that had some small buds on it, so trimmed it up and just hung the little branch above my lights for a few days. Last night I thought I would pack a bowl and see how it tastes..not expecting to get much of high from it. It actually was very smooth. Within 5 mins I could feel the tingle come up my spine as the high kicked in. I was so slammed from that little bowl that I woke up 8 hours later in my chair and still felt a little high. I am not sure why this little bud got me so high, but if it is any indication of what these buds will do in another 3 weeks, I am stoked.

After 3-5 days its dry enough to smoke, and will get you the highest than any point further on, how high you get usually levels off at 2 weeks drying, or during the first week of curing.... after two months curing, it seems they always lose some of that punch, I try to smoke it all before then though ;)

I don't think I have ever smoked bud this fresh, so this was a first for me. The high was a little more heady than I like, but did pack a punch.:eyesmoke:

smoking some pk as i write this...

looking frosty as fuck good job

Thanks! Very nice Bro!! I love pk. I haven't smoked anything I like more.:bigjoint:

def lookin frosty as fuck and still got a good ways to go keep it up. im followin ur training methods too since ure mixing up scrog and supercrop so i wanna see how things work out for u. appreciate the detailed notes 8)
and ya def gonna be stoked if u got faded off ur sample nug already must be expecting a nice yield and great quality.
i know u got ur jars already i have 5 of the gallon square ones u got i hate the fukn lids theyre a pain sumtimes to get on even off sumtimes. i ordered mine from www.uline.com suggest u check em out next time maybe (which i doubt ull need many more) but more as advice for others lookin for glass jars. anyways keep it up bro!

Thanks bud. Yeah, I checked out that site and will probably order some for the next round. Target also had some other square glass jars that had sqaure lids that kind of snap on. I figured the twist tops would be more air tight.

As for the training, I am pinch/bending as seen in the above pic and lsting ( bend and tie) some that won't stay over. Now I know some say that the bending is supercropping and some define it as toping and then bending the outside branches. So, I am not exactley sure which it is, but I am experimenting( no topping). I plan on giving the outside branches and the center another bend when I put them in the large room(flower room). I am running out of horizontal space in my veg room so I haven't bet the outside branches at all, only the ccenter. Mainly because I have those bag seed plants in there which take up the space in the middle. So I am limited to some degree on what I can do. The plan is to give them 7-10 days under the 2000w mh's before I switch bulbs bacl to hps and 12/12 in the flower room. This way they will have a chance to spread out under the screen before they start flowering. The other thing is, next round I want to try and keep them under the screen until week two of flower and spread out the pots a little more than I did this round. This round the pots side by side in the center of the trays so it limited the space between plants.

The big difference between first round was that I didn't do anything before the screen went up, so I basically just kept bending the top under the screen to try and let the rest catch up. I never did get them even. Next round I will start with a more even canopy, which should be easier to get them all to clear the screen at the same time.:)

Man looking real good. Good to hear that the premature PK put you to sleep . You know that the medicine on the way is gonna be off the chizzzaain.

Your babies are growing real nice and fast.

Day 43 Flower-

So today wasn't the greatest day to be a Raiderfan..it was a long 3 hour drive home from the game today. The crowd was the loudest I have heard all year when Russell came in for injured Gradkowski. I'll bet you could hear the BOOOOS from miles away.

Anyway, on a good note, I gave the ladies their first dose of shooting powder tonight. I went by the h&g instructions..so we will see how good this stuff is.

This is off the house and garden website-
Shooting Powder
First, add base nutrients and other additives to achieve EC1.2/PPM 840. Mix well and adjust PH to 5.8.
Mix required amount of Shooting Powder in a bucket with small amount of water until dissolved, then add to reservoir. The PH will rise slightly which enables the plants to absorb P&K easier. Do not adjust PH.
FLUSH EVERY WEEK WHILST USING SHOOTING POWDER.
Results are visible in 2-3 days.

Here's some pics I took tonight.

Right on man, glad I can help. It is good to see you got your new journal up too. :)

mmmm tasty

It smells so amazing bro, it makes me hungry. It smells so sweet, like candy.:bigjoint:

Those look great! When are you chopping them down?

Thanks for the compliment brother. I will harvest when I have close to 40% amber. The plan is Jan 1st so I can trim that weekend.:eyesmoke:

Day 45 Flower~

So I gave them a 50% nute dose tonight with a 50% runoff. I also added a 50% dose of cal/mag. lol that's a lot of 50%'s. I am still experiencing a few of the top fans canoe-ing and some yellowing. Hopefully the low dose flush will clear it up. I am still runing the biolinks to combat watever the bugs in there are. Which now I am thinking it might just be springtails as I have had them in there a while.
The buds seem to be expanding and fattening up a bit.

I took some pics with my slr without a flash tonight.
