First Organic Grow... No Till Style!

It is my first time running these strains. But I usually do get better yields with vert. I must say that my coco dtw horizontal had great yield also. But I think when it comes to the KISS factor along with the weight. Vert usually wins in my grow systems. The next grow I am going to try a pair of stacked 600w bulbs in the 5x5. I hope I can shoot for over 3 pounds.
i have faith but people on here will insult you for projecting such a large yield, no one in particular, just some are skeptics. but i will spare you the details (i'm experiencing this now lol). i know what 600's are capable of doing.

I most certainly understand what you are saying. The stacked 600w grow wont be an strictly organic grow but a coco one as well. It is something that I am familiar with for sure. Plus winter is coming which makes everything better for me.:bigjoint:. One thing that helps with my vertical grows is when I train them to a screen. I am going to line the tent with plastic fencing so I can utilize all the surface area. In my other grow area I am going to be running 2000w in a 4x8. I love the product it produces. I am also thinking about setting up a 3x3 screen with a 600w above it. As you can see I love running a combination of different grow styles. Haha

3x3 is too small imo for 600... you should go 4x4. i use 2 600's in a 5x10 and have extra large hoods, one 600 for each 5x5... i'm using up just about all of 4.5x4.5 with the plants and no trellis, just stakes for every branch and gettin' some killer yields. that's how i know you will crush with 2 600's in a 5x5. gonna be some fatties comin outta there haha.

went through your bud pics again today... man i can't wait to get these no tills planted. got some cover crop sprouting in them now.

The 3rd picture on the Blue Dream bud I think it is a MALE flower. Am I right with my assessment?(the last set of pictures)

Good news. I want to take them at about 5% Amber. I hope that will give the couch lock affect.
that is my preferred ripeness, when trichs get yellow they start to break down which forms the molecule CBN, which to my understanding is degraded THC. so i say the less the amount of CBN the better :)

Questions and Concerns:
1. I have seen many people water there soil mix with different teas. Is one type of tea preferred over the other?
2. I have a ton of bottles (synthetic) nutes left over. I also have a ton of organic nutes that have not been used yet. (I got them for free) . Guess it will be used in my new outdoor veggie garden.
3. Is it OK to connect automatic drippers to the pots? I have them left over from previous grows along with a Blumat set up.

Get rid of those synthetics please and thankyou. I would comment more but id just be repeating don so yeah man subb'd and good shit man!

my first thought was wait a minute, my dr 120 is 3 x 3 x7 and is just about PERFECT for a 600 cooltube, however it's a 3' 11" x 3' 11" x7' so tech i am running a 4 x 4 x 7, and i can honestly say it is by far the best area for a 600 hps cooltube, in fact it's much easier to control the plants from stretch in my most recent findings. IMHO as soon as amber trichs are showing you can expect a couchlock unless there heavy sativa's. Last heavy sativa i had with tons of amber made me wicked paranoid strangely enough. I cannot wait to see these pictures though

1. the only tea you need to water your soil with when you mix it is AACT. EWC and/or compost and/or ancient forest (any single or combination of them no more than 2 cups needed for 4 gal of tea) + Unsulfured BSM (have seen rates from 1tbsp to 4gal of water up to 1/3cup to 4 gal of water). bubble that in a 5gal bucket with weighted air stones (or in a tea brewer which i do not have any experience with) for 24-48 hours. you should see a nice foam, and you can get a burlap sack to keep the compost material in or just strain the tea at the end, or don't strain if you have worms in your pots, they'd probably love the tea slop!

2. DO NOT USE THE BOTTLES ON YOUR VEGGIE GARDEN. just like you cannabis, your veggie garden performs best with a living soil!!!! So... compost, natural slow release forms of food, AACT. I learned the hard way the last couple years and my garden was raped and pillaged by insects, disease, and deficiencies. honestly, if you can't dump them down the drain (after all that's what you pay the city to do for sewer), just pass them along to a friend lol.

3. yes auto drips are ok to add to the pots if you can dial them in. I'm going to run the maxi blumats in the 4 20gal no tills i have mixed up. 2 are ready to plant, and 2 just got mixed yesterday (my biochar challenge!). i need to order a few more maxis. I'm gonna run 2 in each 20 gal. maybe three, i don't know yet.

sry, Dre. didn't mean to hijack your thread lol.

I had been using nylon stockings lol, here's the very first tea recipe i was given shulby.....
t 3 the tea recipe you requested

You can use queen size knee high nylon stockings for tea bags. 3 pair for a dollar at the dollar store. Tell 'em you use them for paint strainers. Put the recommended tea in the stocking, tie a loop knot in it and hang it in your tea bucket. The tea should look like a mud puddle. Agitate the bag in the water vigorously. An aquarium pump and air stone will dissolve oxygen into the solution and keep the good bacteria (microherd) alive and thriving. Let it bubble a day or two before you use it. If you find you are making too much tea and having tRECIPE #3 (My favorite)
If you want to use guano tea and kelp...
2/3 cup High P Guano (Indonesian or Jamaican)
5 tsp. Maxicrop 1-0-4 powdered kelp extract
(That mak
Guano Tea and Kelp:

Seedlings less than 1 month old nute tea mix-
Mix 1 cup earthworm castings into 5 gallons of water to make the tea.
Add 5 tbs. Black Strap Molasses.
Use it to water your seedlings with every 3rd watering.

Veg mix-
1/3 cup Peruvian Seabird Guano (PSG)
1/3 cup High N Bat Guano (Mexican)
1/3 cup Earth Worm Castings (EWC)
5 tsp. Maxicrop 1-0-4 powdered kelp extract
(That makes the "dry mix". You can make all you want and save it to use later.)
Mix with water @ 1 cup of dry mix into 5 gallons of water to make the tea.
To that 5 gallons of tea add:
5 tbs. Liquid Karma
5 tbs. Black Strap Molasses
Use it to water with every 3rd watering.

Flowering nute tea mix:
2/3 cup Peruvian Seabird Guano
2/3 cup Earth Worm Castings
es the "dry mix". You can make all you want and save it to use later.)
Mix with water @ 2 cups of dry mix into 5 gallons of water to make the tea.
To that 5 gallons of tea add:
5 tbs. Liquid Karma
5 tbs. Black Strap Molasses
Use it to water with EVERY watering.
o throw it out, use 2 1/2 gallons of water and cut the nute amount by half.

IMO....too many teas! too many ingredients! and i dont know why but the nylon stockings just seem... restrictive to the microbes in the tea?? the point of this style of gardening is to let the soil do the work for you... so i say AACT (3 times max per cycle), aloe drench and foliar, ful-power drench, SST drench (coconut water is great for this... INSTANT sst) and WATER. that's all i plan to use really off the get go really. I'm going to do a challenge with some 7 gal. fabric pots and doing just water and occasional aact in 2 of them, and all the little tips and tricks in the other 2. all 4 plants same strain same size. just to see...

Don't understand how it can be no till on your first run? You would need to have already gone through a grow to have the no till soil?

lol the containers are specifically sized for them to become no till. 20 gals with about 18 gal of soil in them. so technically the first run isn't no till :) but the soil will get better after the first run anyway! i can't wait!
