First Organic Grow... No Till Style!

So you plan on doing no till style..
 
Some of the strains are going to be getting the boot starting with the Blue Dream. It wants to go well over 10 weeks and it starts throwing pollen sacks like crazy. The others may be the White Fire Alien and Cheese. The keepers are Rainbow Jones and Skywalker Kush.

Nice! your skywalker looks consistent with the one my buddy has as far as shape and color. i see youve been pinching a few nugs offa those colas :)

how are you liking the flavor and smoke so far. i know it's waaayyyy too early to judge. i like my buds about 2-3 weeks after i put them in the jars, and they just get better as time goes on.

The Skywalker is very dense and is the smelliest by far. The flavor is like the smell. I would say a funky pine.
 
Well the first harvest ended up being a bit over a pound. I don't know the exact amount because it was harvested at different times and being smoked. I think I will be getting rid of the cheese. It does not have the aroma I want. I think I will be adding popping Holy Grail, Jackberry x Mad Scientist and Candy Kush. On the other side of the tent is my coco DSC00046.JPG hempy grow.Those big ladies are getting ready for my 1200w vertical grow area.

It has been a pretty damn proper smoke. Still trying to find that super potent strain. It is pretty damn hard in seed form far darn sure. Trying to get my hands on a GG4 or Bruce Banner #3. The top smoke has been between the Rainbow Jones, Skywalker, and oddly the Blue Dream. This next harvest I will be able to make another cut to the chopping block. The Skywalker has the strongest smell though.
 
The new batch just went into flower. The plants are much taller and maturer this round and I will be using 2 600w hps. I think this will help me produce more with this system I feel they look much better starting off with this new batch of soil I am using.DSC00055.JPG

These strains in a different grow style (horizontal) and the different organic inputs (bottled). I had them sitting around and they were free. Also I feel this grow was much more controlled than the vertical grow due to the summer heat issues. That will give me a much better assessment of the strains I want to keep and the strains I want to get rid of.

what were the bottles you got that were free? i got some kind of free photosynthetic bacteria and myco liquid stuff from the grow store as a sample. they seemed to have positive effect on the plants. got very good praying results with the stuff when i was using it.

was just checking out the last pics you posted. everything looks awesome!

I have some stuff simular to yours for free as well. I can't remember the name name at the moment though. I also got a full line of AN Jungle Juice with the additives. I will post a few pics of the recently harvested buds.
