i put a cap of peroxide in the atomizer tub for sterile insurance but not on the growths. if this is healthy mycelium what do you recomend me doing at this point?OH WOW I never saw anything like that drop just a few drops of hydrogen peroxide on it if it has any reaction at all toss the cake it might be some kind of mold I never saw if it is mold it won't react well to the H2O2
i had someone confirm that it is indeed mycelium but now the question is, is it healthy for it to be so fluffy instead of ropey?Lol... Throw that shit out. I don't know if it's worst case of cobweb ever, or something else

I've seen this before and it seemed to have been caused from a lack of evaporation action. I did plenty of FAE and withheld misting for a while and that seemed to have caused the mycelium to knot up and start pinning.

There was no reaction to peroxide when putting a few drops on it. You just might be right about the ventilation thing cause the jars had no breathing vents on the jars just a loosened upside down lids, thanks to the person that gave me this stock of jars.
How is your FAE/fanning in that chamber though? It doesn't look like you drilled any holes. Sorry for giving you bad information before... I have never seen a cake get 2-3x it's size from fuzzy mycelium growth like that. how long have they been in there?
cake teks seem more complicated than other methods to me... but look into the shotgun terrarium tek. That seems like the best way to do it.
