First Time AF Grow

I'm considering just starting a new auto and trashing the photo next to it, since it is growing really slow (it's an old seed) and its brethren weren't very productive also. I have a Dinafem Fruit which I have yet to pop...what do you think, let the photo go (it's a regular seed and i can't sex it until the auto is finished, so another negative) and hope for the best or trash it and start a new auto? I hate to waste a plant, but this photo is really really slow...i bet it's grown 1 inch in 1 month...
You could always cut a clone off the plant (if your going to trash it) and start vegging it, by the time the auto is finished you should be good to go :D

It's so small I don't even think I could clone it at this point...and the clone wouldn't be guaranteed to be female becuase I haven't sexed the plant yet...i'm not going to switch to 12/12 just to sex a photo because it would probably affect my auto...that's what i get for only having enough space for two plants at a time...

Some pix from about day 41 of the grow...she's really growing fast and furious now - I have to raise the lights almost every two days...and to think i've only watered and given her veg nutes once.

Well isnt that the way.. Lookin good so far FoP, she looks nice and happy :D
Thank you for the compliment...this strain has really been quite easy to grow so far, let's hope she keeps it up...of course the final verdict won't be in for at least another two months!!!;-)

Day 44 of the young woman's life. Finally, I've had to give her some water and added a little bit of biobizz bloom to the mix. I went sparingly on the water and nutes, just to be on the safe side. I water with about 600mL (20 oz) of water and 2mL of nutes (like a teaspoon, I guess). This was yesterday morning. Already, though, it seems that she's getting thirsty again, so probably, I'll need to water her again in two days...we'll see.
Anyone, have the experience with Autoflowers that they need little water during veg and much more during flower? Let me know! But without further ado...

Lookin Good Man!

I'm thinking, as with everything, that each plant is a bit different. It seems to me that you can sort of tell what the plants wants based on how they react. Yours seems to be a sipper but the further into flower the more she may need feeding and watering. I'll let the pro's chime in with actual good advice though.

I agree, but I've always had sippers (they're trying to compensate for their father's thirst, I guess:lol:!) I killed a photo because I thought it needed more water when it needed something else...which I've never been able to figure out...trial by fire!

I think one good way to tell is the leaves. If they are droopy, which yours don't look to be, then they need it. If they are straight or slightly perky, they don't.

What the hell do I know? Trial by fire is right!!! again, this is all just my humble opinion and an opinion only lol

Water her the same every time, thats what she is used to. If the pots really light feeling (at least 2/3's lighter then when fully watered) then water. Keep ion mind you water when shes thirsty, you feed her on a schedule :weed:

As she gets bigger, she will be requiring more water :)

I've only fed her once during veg with a 6-6-6- NPK fert and then once in flower with BioBloom 2-7-4 NPK. Right now the schedule is every two weeks she gets a feed with the watering. The photo is a bit misleading as the leaves aren't as dark as they seem. Let me see if I can take a better photo later on today or tomorrow!

Okay, I tried to get some better pix. In effect, she looks a little dark green but she's always been that way and I have nothing to make me think there's any N overload...
