First time grow from Michigan!

Hi all, I'm a new member and I'm getting near the end of my first ever grow. It's been a very fun process, and I've learned alot from going through a grow! I ended up getting some seeds in some bud I got from a local dispensary and started out with just seeing if I could get a seed to germinate. After that I figured, hell let's see if we can get something to grow, and it's turned into a full blown grow tent, soil ferts, etc. Definitely worth the effort!

She's just entering week 6 of flower. She's got about 2 weeks left until harvest and just got her second flush last night. I'm using Fox Farms Ocean Forest soil, and didn't use ANY additional additives/ferts while she was in veg. Once she hit the flower stage I started using the Fox Farm Trio "Grow Big", "Big Bloom", "Tiger Bloom". I dosed at about 1/4 the recommended amount to see how she responded, and upped it each week until I began her flush.

I agree with Herbs & Suds, you've got a lot more than two weeks left, keep feeding her. Never trust the breeders timelines.

Also, I don't want to start this argument again, but do plenty of research on flushing before committing to it. It's effectiveness is debatable. Im not gonna say not to, I just see a lot of new growers flushing for some reason, usually way too early. And then they feel like once they start flushing they can't stop, which hurts their yields and quality. Even if I wanted to flush, I'd err on the side of caution and feed until they looked done, then flush for a week. FYI, I don't flush at all.

Hello neighbor, great start. Now is the time to be patient and it will reward you. I would start back feeding until all those white hairs turn red, orange, purple and start to shrivel back into the calix. At that point you start watch trichs in the buds, not sugar leafs. People differ here, and there are many ways to cure. I like to take it when I am showing 10% amber and as few clear as I can get without too many amber. The few clear will mature in cure to cloudy and too much amber will get you green ambien that will knock you out. My cure is trim all fan leafs and sugar tips then hang for 4-7 days in 60F/ 55-60RU just until your tops are a bit crunchy on the outside and spongy like stryrofoam. Bounces back. At that point I put in sealed jars or hanging tub with RU/ten meter inside. Place in dark cool spot for another 10 days and gradually burp the container down to a stable 58-60 RU. At this point it’s ready for top shelf smoke and as long as keep sealed will stay above 55RU. That’s the important number, never quick dry to under 55, at that point it’s dry and you kill the curing . If you do that before you let the terps come back out from the shock of cutting you will have tasteless or worse grass tasting hard nuggets.

Nice pics. I back the feed and proceed crowd. That has some potential in it still. Don't cut it or yourself short. Patience is truly the skill hardest to master in this pursuit.
