no prob, just makin sure we're on same page
couple days ago, watered w/ second half (64oz) of that previous gallon. saw no insects.
flowerday 61 today. just watered it down w/ 64oz tap water, 1 tbsp molasses mixed in, adjusted up to 6.5pH. some of the lower buds are getting even more red, darn close to being chop-worthy. upper buds still whiter.
yesterday i did spot 2 more ultra thin almost invisible spiderweb strands near top bud. inspected pretty closely, saw no offenders...
right before i went to water, i noticed dark mold on the bottle i use for watering. it was a 16oz plastic water bottle w/ plastic lid. i had cut 3 round holes in the lid & inserted 1/4"-wide air lines in the lid & had 'em about 6" long, as a way of reaching all areas of dirt easily. the mold was mostly inside the air lines. i had neglected to rinse it clean, & honestly, hardly ever thought to. i know that molasses is sugar, sugar is acidic, acidic is low pH, & mold thrives in low pH. needless to say, scrapped that whole setup, quickly reproduced it w/ new parts, & went on to water the plant. i'm just noting this in case i encounter mold problems w/ plant, but right now everything looks clean.
got about 3 more full size fan leaves dehydrating & getting ready to be pulled. that'll be virtually the last of those bigger/older ones. there might be 1 or 2 like that left on the older/symmetric part of the plant. all the upper/newer/asymmetric/smaller full-size fan leaves are all still full green. numerous smaller/deeper leaves that normally wouldn't droop & dry are drooping & drying, ready to pull too. coz i stopped nutes? dunno.
a couple more bud sites down low are getting white spots just like the most recent pic i posted. fairly sure it's nute toxicity or deficiency, i.e. not bugs, but i'll inspect up-close to be sure. at this late stage in the game, i don't even care to make any adjustments. will keep on keepin' on with water&molasses at roughly 2 tbsp a gallon.
i have a diagram i found online called "When To Harvest" that shows 4 stages of pistils, and that is primarily what i will be using to determine when to remove branches. diagram shows stage 1 - full white pistils, stage 2 - whitish/rusty pistils, 3 - fully red pistils, 4 - dark/shriveling pistils. already, some of the buds are at stage 3 or darn close to it. i think i will chop a few on day 63 (2 more days!) as a trial run, and then probly pull the majority of everything else over the next week
