Fungus needs a little more than just sugar'd water to grow man, sure some spores may germinate off of the sugars but its not enough to get real growth from. Try cutting back on the sugar, and adding some Vitimin C, B+, and some green-blue algea to get things growing and really growing strong. Remember with an LC or any other live culture, your setting your foundation for a few grows to come, when doing that, you need all the proper nutes to really get the mycelium growing before you add it to grain, that way it doesnt slow whenever it goes to grain, if anything growth should improve from the liquid to solid matter transfer.
Not knockin ur LC mix man, but u really do need more in there besides sugar. try it and see.

Yea, an LC that way is deffinately playing Russian roulette... You really don't know what the he'll your growing when you make em... Try this instead... If any of your popcorn finish colonizing sterilize a jar of water in your PC for 30 min... Also clean a syringe by filling it with water and boiling that in more water for 20 min, when done, simply drain that water from your syringe... Now wash hands, face, bush teeth, and heavily oust the air your gonna work in... wipe hands with 70% iso...Now, under a fipped upsidedown tote, loosen your colonized grain jar and sterilized water jar and quickly pour your clean water into you grain jar... Give it a shake, then flame sterilze you needle and simply suck the water back out of the grain jar... You can make lots of syringes this way and you also know what you have to work with... Use the grains after for whatever you want

Mycelium is at a halt again. Not sure what is goin on this time? Possibly bad water to grain ratio? Am i rushing things? Should it take this long?

I was wonderin if i should grain to grain to a new substrate. Try to spawn partially colonized popcorn- taking a few grains from each and re inoculating on new jars with new lids and new substrate.

hmmmm...I have a good crop comin' fast from this LC...you like complex...go for it...I like simple...and it ain't any simpler than I do it...I'm not knockin' your method...just seems like a hassel puttin a cocktail of ingredients together...but...to each their own...;)

im on my first grow right now. I didnt half cake method and half monotub. The monotub got green mold quick. The cakes are fine but one got green mold. I think its in the water i mist them with. I just use tap water but im thinking of boiling water and using that after it cools.

Fruiting chambers are no where near sterile. Its not your tap water thats leading to mold, its lack of fresh air, fruiting substrate thats not 100% colonized, trying to improvise with 2 different growing methods, or all of the above. Why do so many people try and improvise when proven methods already exist??? Geeze people! PF tek is like baking a cake! Just follow instructions!
