First Time Topping

And im nervous!!

Ive read up on uncles ben's etc, was just wondering how wrong can it actually go?

It was my last feminized Big Bud seed, that I was planning on cloning, so I dont really want to risk killing it, I would leave topping if its high risk to the plants survival, I have superthrive on hand and a decent enviroment... Just thought I would get a few opinions

Don't give it a second thought. Chop the bitch's head off lol.

Seriously though, topping is not going to kill your plant. Plus, if you take enough off, you can root the top, since you said you wanted to clone it anyway. Just don't top during flowering, or you will seriously reduce your yield.

I just topped my plants today. I used the cuttings from my 2 best plants as clones. If you want to clone anyway, might as well do it at the same time!

Only problem I have at the moment with cloning the top at the moment, is that the nodes are VERY close together at the moment, its working on it's sixth node but its only about an inch from the first set of leaves, so even if I were to trim the nodes above it still wouldnt give me much to work with...I thought with cloning I would need a longer stem/shoot...
