NL2 and NL5 were nice. That's Skunk #1 just getting flipped as I finish chopping NL #5 on the right. NL #2 is sitting in pans getting dried to dust level for seed sieving (in the drying closet not visible). As is the #2 which has been transferred to the sieve.
Hope you give a smoke report on those. I have the NL2 and Original Skunk 1 waiting their turn to grow. Also have the Purest Indica. So many seeds, so little grow room.

I just picked up some Yucca extract and some Gnatrol this week and the Gnatrol seems to be doing its job. I got some new yellow sticky traps for the fungus gnats and I've only caught one flyer all weekend. I can see a bunch of tiny white dots moving around in the earth worm castings and I can't tell if they're beneficial nematodes from the EWC or fungus gnat larvae because my eyes are so bad. I really need new glasses, this weekend proved it. I'm hoping the yucca extract will help prevent any dry pockets in the soil and it has microbe food which is a nice extra.
That's the weekend update on the ladies and I hope all your buds are getting big and stinky.IMG_20220925_183929909_HDR~3.jpg

Sounds like you have those gnats under control. I'm still battling them. Gnatrol, T-Drops, DE and sticky traps have decreased their numbers but they still bother us when we are eating. I'm using one of those air-pots and do see them going in and out of the holes. Im thinking they aren't such a good idea for indoor use.
Those buds are looking good! I bet it is getting pretty skunky smelling around there!

I've read about people putting ladies stockings around the holes on the pots but so far the Gnatrol and fresh sticky traps seem to be cutting them down. I'll always have a couple buzzing around just because of where we live. I just can't take it when they get out of control.
I use a bowl of water with sugar, water, apple cider vinegar and a drop of dish soap in the kitchen to trap any in there and it works pretty well. They love the smell of the vinegar for some reason. The soap breaks the surface tension of the water so when they try to drink they just slip into it and drown. My wife's grandmother showed it to me and I love organic bug stuff so I tried it.

As far as the smell, it's pretty strong. I don't use any carbon filter and the exhaust is right into the house so there's not much disguising what's being grown in the back room. I'm a hermit pretty much with just me and my wife spending time around the house I get used to it. Then I go into town and someone behind me in line will be talking about how they smell weed lol. I'm really lucky to be in a legal state and to be really remote too. I could grow the elusive road kill skunk and nobody would know.
I'm hoping for some size increase in the frosty pheno of the Steve Lemme OG this week. The larger pheno is almost twice her size as far as buds go. The larger pheno was about 4 days ahead to flower though and has been the most vigorous growing of all, even from sprout. I've just been trying to keep them watered this past weekend as I threw my back out this past week trying to move a car engine around. Anybody want to buy a Pontiac engine cheap lol?

Today is day 42 of flower and day 49 from flip and time marches on. The girls are doing well with some light stress showing on all 3 now in minor ways. I raised the light a couple inches as I'm seeing foxtailing on the Steve Lemme OG plants and I'm not sure if it's genetics but I'm pretty sure it's the high ppfd I've been running. There's some tacoing on a few of the very top leaves that also indicates light stress. I probably should have cut the light back a week or two earlier but the Steve Lemme plants seemed to be taking the high level just fine until last week. I'm thinking 50K lux is the new safety margin. At one point some colas were hitting 72,500K lux which I knew was too high but I let it go. It's the first run with this powerful light so a little crispy I can live with, just not full on toast :bigjoint:. Here's some pics of the madhouse. The little Steve Lemme OG is really looking frosty. She's going to be a pain to trim but it will make for some good tincture I think.CM220926-171437003~2.jpgCM220926-171412002~3.jpgIMG_20220928_211111488_HDR~2.jpgIMG_20220928_183739731.jpg

Looking awesome as always; lots stakes to support fat cola laden branches and that’s a good thing! Keep pressing on dude!

Thanks bud, I'm ready to get this wrapped up so I can move on to the Purest Indica seeds. I waited almost a year for those to get released and I'm hoping for some good old style bud. I probably have a little more than 3 weeks or so on the bubba kush and another week or two on the Lemme OG's. Hopefully I'll be able to take them down one at a time to make trimming easy. Should be okay as the phenos are so different.

Today was top dressing with Flower Girl and I backed it off to 1 tbls per gallon as I've been seeing some burned tips. I know the ones up top are from the too high light intensity but I think they're pretty heavy on food so I went light.
The arrival of fall was well timed as the top fan leaves have all started to fade and change color. They took some heavy light stress with no hermies, pistil burn or really drastic reaction other than bubba who got the top fans fairly well cooked but bud wise has done well so far. I'm having to turn bubba into a circus tent with support wires going up daily as it starts to swell and flop over. I meant to get some plant wire but it didn't happen so it's pipe cleaners carefully defurred from fuzzies. Here's some pics of the fall foliage and I hope you guys are having a great weekend. Keep those people that were affected by this hurricane in your thoughts, they really took it bad in some places.IMG_20221001_170930208_HDR~2.jpgIMG_20221001_212153521_HDR~2.jpgIMG_20221001_212131487_HDR~2.jpg

Going through the plants yesterday I found 2 nanners on the big Steve Lemme plant up top on the colas. I'm kicking myself for not having turned the light down earlier now but what's done is done and I won't be running over 50k lux anytime soon. I can't raise the light anymore than it is and I don't want to cut it down to 60% from the 80% it's at right now. I'm just going to ride it out for the benefit of the secondary buds and lower canopy because if I cut it down they won't get enough light. Cola's be damned :bigjoint:. Tomorrow is day 56 from flip and I'm betting on 2-3 weeks for bubba and maybe more for the Lemme OG plants, it just depends on if I can be keep them healthy until the end with this much light. I plan on finding out. The pic outside the tent is a clone of the frosty pheno of Steve Lemme that I topped and transplanted this week. Getting it ready for the next run. Hope your week is off to a great start and your plants are growing healthy.IMG_20221002_223939883~2.jpgIMG_20221004_162123403~2.jpgIMG_20221004_131022744_HDR~2.jpg

Week 9 is well on its way and it's getting better every day. It's been a good week as I didn't find anymore nanners on the girls. I think I pulled back on the light intensity just in the nick of time to avoid total disaster. They're putting on some weight as branches are bowing out and having to be tied up. Bubba Kush is getting some late frost which is great. It's really put on weight in the last two weeks. I'm hoping for a good harvest from it as I just love the relaxed effects and incredible flavor it has.
The Steve Lemme OG that's outside continues to amaze me with zero bud rot after the hurricane and no PM. It's only had some leaf spot septoria which is unavoidable being so close to the woods where it's common. I'm just letting it do it's thing and haven't given it any IPM sprays at all. I'm super impressed at the vigor it's showing outside and can't wait to see what it can take as we head towards November in Virginia.
Here's some pictures of the weeks growth. Hope you guys are getting ready for a great weekend. IMG_20221006_160037713~3.jpgIMG_20221005_164856660_HDR~3.jpgIMG_20221006_160258932_HDR~3.jpgIMG_20221006_160339277_HDR~2.jpgIMG_20221006_173230362_HDR~3.jpg

Week ten of flower and it's been a busy couple of days. I'm busy trying to get clones and seeds ready for my next grow and with our plant count law it's hard to shuffle everything around to friends and stay within the rules. I popped 4 of the Purest Indica seeds from Authentic Genetics and a couple of seeds of Sour Bubble and Sour Cindy from BOG Seeds. I have them off at buddies for germination and vegging until I can sex them and decide who is going to stay around.
Someone mentioned to me in another thread that the plant in front of the tent I've been calling a pre 98 bubba kush didn't look like it and I have to agree. It's growing very different from the first run I had with the bubba kush clone I have. The buds are different as well as the leaves. I had chalked it up to the much brighter light and different spectrum, going from 3500K to 4200K, but I'm thinking more now that I messed up labeling clones and this is OG Kush from some seeds a buddy got at a coffee shop in Amsterdam. The bud shape and leaves are just too different and I only had Motorbreath 15 and OG Kush around at the time. I'm positive it's not Motorbreath 15, that strain has a distinct, strong odor. If it's the OG Kush strain I'll try to reveg it as I didn't keep any clones after giving several away. Either way it's getting thicker each week and is looking nice considering how bad I torched it.
This week's focus is on consistently drying things down some humidity wise and keeping up with airflow. It's tight in the tent with everything bowing out from swelling and I don't want to see any mold or PM at this last minute.
Thanks again to @Cultiuana for the great light. Once I'm used to the power a bit more it's going to really produce some killer harvests. It does a great job of giving even coverage almost all the way out to the edges of my tent. If I had used the lux meter earlier and trusted the conversion factor this run would have been a lot prettier. It's just hard for me to not hold my foot to the floor given so much wattage.
Here's some pics and hope you are having a great week!

They are big!
Thanks, I'm wishing I had just a little more room for them but I'm making up for the crowding with lots of air movement. So far, so good. Every part of a grow has its own challenges and stresses but this point is where I start imagining mold and bud rot everywhere. I haven't had it indoors in years but last year's outdoor grow was brutal and I'm still anxious about it. Just a couple more weeks and I can relax, until the next time.

I felt it when you mentioned you turned the light down a bit. It’s been going great, but I had to do the same. Definitely feels I need to start dialing things in with each light I use instead of winging it.
Not running a humidifier may have been the deal breaker between the plant & I lol. The one have didn’t do the job well, so I cut it back out of the equation.
Awesome job you’re doing with those girls in there!:weed::leaf: Let’s finish these ladies out & run it back I am revegging a clone now. Going to run the organics next round. Much more appealing to life in general.

Bravo!! Looks like it's gonna be a great haul!!
Thanks, they're a little more crispy than I had hoped I'd end up with but there's going to be a lot of good meds. I'm super impressed with the genetics not throwing balls and nanners all over the place after the 1280 ppfd they were getting for so long. It's safe to say I've stress tested these strains and if I only had a couple nanners on top of a cola I'm a lucky sob. Now that I have a good idea for the power I can put the really even light spread to better use. This light would absolutely kill it in a SCROG setup that let you run it at 100% height wise. It's not my normal growing style but I'm going to have to give it a try after my next run.

I'm loving this frosty Steve Lemme OG pheno I got this time. I'll have to see how it smokes but the genetics in it's lineage say it should be potent. I'm going to run it again most likely with some Purest Indica and some BOG Seeds stuff. I'm pulling close to 45K lux and watching it for now. I'm dialing it back as I get closer to finished. Hopefully they will come in just in time before the sugar leaves get crispy. I'm guessing a Halloween harvest time frame but it's up to them. Once you get the distance figured out just right I'm betting you're going to do great with these. They're perfect for the canopy style you have.
