I think halibut on the grill is about as good as it gets!!

Someday I'll hopefully be living in your state? Been there twice and it's the only vacation I've been on where I really didn't want to come home!

Just got back from a 5 day fly fishing trip. Caught a bunch of nice fish. Most in the 2-3 lb range, a few up in the 5-6 lb range.

These fish fought crazy hard. It was nothing for a 3 lb fish to run deep into the backing. The biggest I caught was probably 30 yards away from spooling me completely.

Yeah buddy! Slayin those fuckers. Were you on a 5weight? 3x leader?

I just got back from a local lake and had a slayfest. Exploding on dries. Best day of my season so far.

Yes sir, I have a 5wt and a 6wt that I fish, but 3x leaders all day. I was hoping to get into some solid chironomid fishing, but there was no hatches happening.

Most of the fish were caught on micro leeches, fished under an indicator. The traveling sedges had just started to show up on our last day.
