Fishing

I've been killing it with a balanced leech this last week. :)
That's funny you say that. I bought some pins and down eye hooks so I could tie some balanced leeches on this trip, I've never actually fished one before. I tied some up and had one rod with a balanced micro leech and one rod with a standard one. The standard out fished the balanced badly on the first day, like 5-1. I had to give up on it and just fish the 2 regular leeches.

I'm sure there are some days and some lakes where one will out fish the other.

Absolutely. You can be killin it with a calabaetis one day and the next they won't even look at it!

That's why it's so fun. :)

Just got the redington butter stick for small creeks. Can't wait to give it a go!

An average steelhead we've been hooking up wit for the last month or so on the Low flow side of the feather. Not bad. My brother with one of them that I hooked up with not long ago. We went out last week and hooked up with more of them like it. Typical summer time steelhead.

Your fingers are looking a little fat, give me that fish! I shall eat it for your own good.
