Hey everyone, no pics today, not much has changed since the last ones. Yesterday I started to give them some of the good stuff, for their watering I mixed up a small gentle batch of Cultured Biologix Dr. Root and they responded well. Tomorrow I am giving them the first taste of NFTG.

On another note. Sunday night while preparing to got to work I was burping jars and had one that was a little high in humidity so I was going to leave it open for 15 minutes or so, and I forgot about it. I saw it when I got home. The hydrometer was reading 56%, so I grabbed a small nug and rolled it up for the hell of it.

It was some 8 Ball Kush (Afghanistan x Pakistan) from Barney's Farm. Not much flavor or aroma tasted like decent weed a bit spicy, decent clean buzz as well. It was a lower end nugget. Today I pulled out another and it was pretty good too. Sniffing the jars they are giving off the same vibe but still too soon to give a rating.

But the Bubble Gum Boogie is coming thru with a hell of a sweet fire scent, I am giving this one time before a test.

I just started using NFTG when I flipped to 12/12 and the plants seem to love it so far. Hope it works well for you Flatrate! I’m using it at 100 percent of recommended dosages.

Good deal Twalte, have you used NFTG before? What regimen are you going off of? I used a modified ROMAN last round and took notes of daily feedings so this round I am going to fine tune things.

This is my first time using it. I was fascinated by the use of calcium to deliver the nutrients. I started out at 100 percent of recommended a few weeks ago and the plants are loving it. I purchased their sample pack (on their website) and I’m using the “sample pack regimen”. If you haven’t ordered the sample pack from them online, it’s a tremendous deal. I think it was 38 dollars for the case.

I’m switching to coco on my next grow and therefore need to switch to coco nutes. If I ever go back to soil, I’m really a fan of NFTG.

See attached for a photo of the sample pack and the regimen.

(I’m getting closer on that LED too. That Timber Fatty is badass and might become by birthday gift this year)

Yep, thats what I started with also, then after watching Q&A videos I started completing the collection. Make sure you have back up Herculean Harvest and Olympus Up, you start burning those up fast. In the last run I used a little over 5 qts of Herc running 7 plants without Bloom Khaos. I will be using BK this round and have 2 gallons of Herc ready for it!

Thanks Flatrate. Doing some quick math and it Looks like I will need to purchase some more nutes beyond the sample. Did you notice a difference in final quality by going “organic”? (I don’t think they are 100 percent organic but they’re darn close)

Sorry Twalte I can't answer your question, first real grow and first time with NFTG, I really have nothing to compare too. I will say that I believe in the line and do feel it was a great help to my little success. It gets a bit expensive depending on plant count, I would recommend checking out Cultured Biologix Tea's and SLF-100 as they both play very well with NFTG.

This morning when I got home and checked on things, things were not looking good. Opened the veg tent and humidity was at 99%, some of the girls were laying over from being so wet. I left the tent open for awhile things dried right up and then proceeded to give the first feed of Nectar for the Gods.

Did exactly the same as last time. Small batch 1 1/4 ml of each in a quart of water.
Medusa's Magic
Gaia Mania
Zeus Juice
PH 6.3
PPM 250

Checked on them a bit ago this was 30 mins before lights out.

Flatrate, are your seedlings currently under your Timber Fatty? If so, what distance and dimming % are you using? I see a little stretch, so it must be quite the balancing act finding the sweet spot between frying them and giving them just enough light.

I’m just picking your brain for when my Timber lights get here. Thanks!!

They are under a 3VL turned all the way down at 18 inches so about 32 watts. Some are short, some normal and yes a couple are leggy. Its my first time vegging under this light.

Great! Thank you! That’s exactly the light I ordered x3. I have a lot to learn here as I’ve always vegged under fluoros and grown under HID. Much appreciated!!

Congrats @twalte on a fine purchase! Yea I am stilling playing with things for the 3VL, I feel it will be great for the space I have. All my Timbers are 3500k, what did you choose?

I went with 3500k as well. I’m debating whether to start a grow log here as you recommended. I’m converting to coco coir next time, running under a new type of grow light and using new nutrients. I might want to screw up privately. Haha. There’s a lot of changes in a short period of time.

If your running NFTG you may want to check out their #4 soil, they are made to jive with one another.

Thanks Flatrate! If I decide to go back to soil, I’ll consider that. I’ve had a great run with Fox Farm Ocean Forest.

Going to switch to hydro and try with coco coir. I hear that growth can be significantly faster in coco, fewer bugs, and different flavor. We will see.

The Triple Whammy is the one I am really looking forward too. Like you said the biggest pain in the ass at the same time. I was warned by a guy on the Cannarado thread that they grow and yield well.
